Why can't delivery drivers actually knock on doors like they have wrists?
@jamesfletcher59067 жыл бұрын
Sam Murray yeah bit limp but when u arrive the app tells the customer ur there so a big knock shouldn't really be necessary

Is it necessary that you use the SIM card of the mobile phone nr. that you gave up when you signed up for the delivery app to login the app and do your orders with? Or can you also use another SIM card of another mobile phone nr. ? (eg because that SIM card has more monthly internet data allowence for example)

How did you download app. Because I am living in uk and I am trying to download app but I can't
@okorinokori78723 жыл бұрын
What do the delivery apps like UberEats give you as login details? The email address or mobile phone nr. you signed up with and a password? Or something else?

what will happen if you crashed or can't deliver one certain order for other reasons like flat tire? will you be fired or do you got to pay for the damage? thx
@brendanhancox59927 жыл бұрын
you would need to call/message driver support to arrange for another driver to complete the order. you won't be fired or charged assuming you aren't at fault
@andreashoppe19697 жыл бұрын
Thank you. Do you enjoy it if I may ask? I actually enjoy cycling and I am used to ride long distances, so 4 hours a day wouldn't be a problem, but not that it would be a lifetime thing but more like a 2 year thing (aside of university)
@brendanhancox59927 жыл бұрын
Yes I enjoy it a lot- best part is cycling and being outdoors. I'm able to combine it with uni easily as shifts are quite flexible.
@andreashoppe19697 жыл бұрын
Cool. I decided to ignore all the negativity in the internet and try it out myself as I really enjoy cycling and missed that activity ever since the beginning of university. Although we have lot's of ugly weather, but I am used to thes kind of conditions. (That's why I have thicker tires on my bike, so I don't slip on loose gravel all the time. Eventhough I might be a little slower than with a racing bike I can ride on different surfaces.) What do you think? Have you ever had any trouble with costumers? Thanks so much for your answers btw. Your video is very good, as it is not speeded up but actually shows what's going on in realtime! Congrats
@brendanhancox59927 жыл бұрын
glad you tried it yourself. yes just make sure the bike is safe and sturdy... doesn't need to be racy. i've never had major trouble with customers. cheers

@brendanhancox59928 жыл бұрын
Hi Surya, cheers. i found the application process in Sydney pretty straightforward. They are very loose with hiring so don't feel like they might not accept you. I recommend you give it a go and talk to some of the other riders in your area

How much is your bike
@jackharley85648 жыл бұрын
How much did you make for this 15 minute trip, and per hour generally?
@brendanhancox59928 жыл бұрын
I'm paid 18 AUD per hour +2.50 per trip, so 15 min trip=4.5+2.5=7. on average i get 1.6 deliveries per hour, so roughly 22 per hour.
@abdulqayum89776 жыл бұрын
Brendan Hancox if you're earning 22 per hour and you do 1.6 deliveries then you earn 13.75 on a delivery. I don't know if it's different in the UK but that's about £7-£8 per delivery. And there's no way I or anyone else would pay that much to get my food delivered. So I'm quite curious about how this all works. Cause I don't see where good profit could be made from either of the companies (deliveroo and the food seller)
@FuckOffYouDouchbag5 жыл бұрын
@@abdulqayum8977 Two things factor into this. Firstly, Deliveroo takes around a 30% cut of the price of your food, (often restaurants mark up on Deliveroo to account for this). Secondly like lots of startups Deliveroo actually doesn't make a profit at the moment, you can google about this. They run on investment rounds with the proviso that if and when they eventually turn a profit they will return dividends to their investors.
