9:35 those roadworks caught me off guard yesterday. Making a delivery down queensway (turned right into that road which is rather narrow anyway in a c2 rigid.) Turned in to find a tonne of pedestrians single file around the corner. Should really have been thought of better by the construction crew and whoever signed off on allowing pedestrians no protection there

London Black taxis are perfectly allowed to stop to drop off or pick up passengers and use bus lanes as permitted.

Yes I agree with you Rex, but...... If instead of Luke if it were a fire appliance, then as the cab section is of similar size then the taxi cab would be blocking it. So really the cabs should pull over to the side of the road more.

@RS V8 I'm a Firefighter and Black Taxi driver....if not on blues a Fire Appliance would have to negotiate around a stopping taxi and if on blues im sure a taxi would give as much room as possible. Not having a go mate, just making the point. As Luke said in the video, there are good and bad road users of all types, just that some people don't realise that cabs can stop as mentioned. Na. Load a flat bed and a curtainsider same time. Strap up at the same time, I’ll be off down the road at least 5 minutes before you as you’re still be doing up your curtains and getting paperwork . Now when you arrive at the destination, I’ll already be there with my straps off. By time you’ve undone your curtains and Unstrapped I’ll be nearly tipped. I’ll be gone before you’re even unloaded, then you gotta do your curtains up. I’m now 15-20 minutes ahead of you. Repeat over the week, same jobs, same loads, same strapping up. I’ll be home at least a few hours before you. Flatbed work is quicker. And easier. Therefore. Flatbed work quicker.

I’m not actually in talks with Tomtom at the moment due to be out of contract at this Time. However, I am aware that one is dropping soon. That could be weeks or months I’m not sure. But I would suspect this year. I do not know if a SIM card will be built in, but I do know that it’s to replace the current Expert. I would guess that it would have a SIM card built in but do not know 100% Hopefully they will renew their contract with me soon (probably around the release) and I can share more info ☺️
