Delkevic VS FMF Silencer | DR650 Exhaust Shootout

A quick test overview and impression of the Delkevic Tri-oval silencer, with comparison to the FMF Q4 muffler. Tested on the Warpig Suzuki DR650.

I had the FMF Q4 on My DR650 and loved it until the packing blew out again and again. Not too many options for zero maintenance mufflers but a good one you could try is the LeovinceX3. It's quieter than the FMF Q4 but still has more bark than the stocker and never needs repacking.

If I had my time again I would get the Delkevic round pipe cos that'll have baffle, but will keep an eye out should a Leo Vince come up at a good price

I've got the Leo Vince and it is perfect! Sounds great and isn't overwhelmingly loud. Most of all, my bike pulls much harder with it than the stock muffler.

I'm not sure what procycle's policy is for shipping down under, but they're muffler looks like a decent deal as well with similar performance to the Leo Vince

I got 2 nearly new Hayabusa cans for $120 - they weigh just over 1kg each and are way quieter. Made 2 adapters, got a spare header and sole the 2nd system for $400.

I just got a db killer off eBay and installed that makes the bike a little louder than stock .

Try contacting Delkevic to see about a baffle for it. Single cylinder bikes with aftermarket pipes are usually not pleasant to ride. Way too loud in a barky sort of way that hurts your brain. But the DR650 sounds pretty lame stock so what to do? The GSXR muffler seems like the best option for it.

Should’ve watched this before I ordered a 350ml oval for a klr. But it does come with a baffle & for $309 from eBay,way cheaper than Staintune if you can get one. Bought the bike with a Lexx ,real loud even after a repack

Try finding a cheap baffle that fits or can be modified off ebay.....had the same problem with a danmoto exhaust and for less than $20 problem solved.
