Lots of third party companies sell chargers. Each dell has a service tag which should get you the full spec and correct name from dells site so you don't get the wrong one.

Hi, I'm currently looking for a laptop for video editing and I'm mixing between this dell 3410 and a huawei mate book. Both are with in my budget of £5-600. Do you have a preference ORhave you got any advice on another laptop for this price range. Like I said, my main use will be video and photo editing. Also, storage space is a must too. Thanks 😊
@PhilErringtonSK73 жыл бұрын
A 3410 is a basic office sytle laptop. Video editing is usually a high end application which requires fast processors and usually separate graphics cards. The 3410 is not designed like that. Getting a high end laptop is not easy at the moment(due to the silicon shortage) but thats what you need if using high end video editing packages and want more storage built in.

Not all models have the same functionality. Some keyboards don't have a backlight.

Sir, Can we do video editing in this laptop, I mean Is it support the video editing softwares? Thank you Sir
@PhilErringtonSK73 жыл бұрын
HI Yoenaz, Its a standard PC rather than anything with dedicated graphics. Most video editing needs quite a bit of power normally from a beefy graphics card. So it will probably run most software but its best to check the software itself to see if it has memory or storage requirements. We normally recommend desktops with dedicated graphics and lots of RAM and storage for video production, standard business laptops are not really designed for that.

Hi...i interested in how much did you paid and have you find any problems during using ...and how is sound quality??
@PhilErringtonSK73 жыл бұрын
Hi Beqa, we sell these, but unfortunately they are all out at customers. from what I remember the sound was better than usual. However I would always use headphonesor separate speakers if you want great sound quality with any laptop.

Is it good for programming websites or not?
@PhilErringtonSK72 жыл бұрын
Its a standard decent laptop, nothing special but a good spec if you buy the i3/i5 8GB 240GB versions. Website programming doesn't usually require anything special so it should do that well.

Can you drive a couple of monitors from a USB c dock from it?
@PhilErringtonSK73 жыл бұрын
with docks you can drive multiple monitors, USB c has the bandwidth to connect everything plugged in to a dock.

Hi, is it suitable for programming?
@PhilErringtonSK73 жыл бұрын
It depends what programming you do. Its a modern laptop with different specs, the version we show is a 8GB RAM, 240GB NVMe, i5 10210U. These are relatively fast laptops but don't compare to workstations for serious work. Most programmers use multiple screens and compile a lot, so a U series chip (ultra low voltage) like in the laptop is not that great. Also its only got onboard graphics so that really rules out that sort of programming. However if you are just wanting something to learn some languages on, it will work as well as any other modern machine.

how do you turn on the keyboard light
@PhilErringtonSK73 жыл бұрын
Sorry we don't have stock so can't say for sure. But most extra functions on all laptops are via pressing the function keys, sometimes you have to hold the FN key down while pressing F1 to F12 sometime you its the other way around for normal function key actions (e.g. refresh on F5). There are little pictures on the keys showing the functions which can be switched on/off, raised or lowered (volume).

Hai sir, I had a problem with my dell latitude 3410 screen. It was maximized to 1080p and intel updated driver. The problem is the screen is too contrast like very strange old contrast. I don't know if it is brought from the source of the factory or else. I saw a different screen that isn't glossed as usual. I might contact your instagram if you are willing to see the objective photos from the screen. It seems different from another laptop. Thank you, sir. I hope you can help with any solution about this😁
@PhilErringtonSK73 жыл бұрын
Hi Oscar, You'll need to talk to the people who sold you it to resolve any issues like that. We would help you if you were our customer. Screens for the same main model number can be different. Laptop companies use many different sources for each their screen sometimes different screens on the same model number as well (although the type and spec of the screen is identical then). If you need to adjust resolutions try using an external monitor via HDMI, which can display more resolutions than a laptop screen and may help you configuring the original screen.
@oscarhutahaean34303 жыл бұрын
@@PhilErringtonSK7 thank you for that advice. I've compared the screen while in hdmi connector and without hdmi (laptop screen). It's like what you thought. I saw different on it, the screen on my tv looks very different than on a laptop. Seems like the monitor has a different model than other dell laptops. Actually, i have sold it again today and seek for another laptop. Maybe you can suggest affordable laptops which contain standards college specs like ssd nvme, and intel core i3. It is difficult to look for a new laptop and i used to look for secondhand pieces of stuff. There was basically brand new infinix inbook x1 pro but already sold out for now.

@@oscarhutahaean3430 Hi Oscar, the best way to buy computers is face to face especially second hand. You pay a bit more from a small trader (like us) but will probably be more important as a customer than to a chain store and hence get better advice and products. The web is good for generic purchases if you get what is described (which as you have discovered is sometimes difficult). There is still a shortage of mid range laptops i3 models especially, you may have to pay a bit more to get something decent. If you judge laptops on years of use vs price, you will find true mid range machines (i5, 8Gb, 250GB NVMe, 10+ hr battery) are value for money.
