Hello Asako-san! I am considering this monitor and I found your review very helpful. The English CCs are excellent. I was surprised when you said that you use this screen for architectural work. I have read other reviews complaining that straight lines are not straight on a curved monitor. Do you not find this troublesome? Thank you for the time and effort to make this video.

Hi. Great review. Your setup in the review looks similar to what I would like: The 4K 32inch monitor and a 1440p second monitor. Your review showed the 4K running at 30hz - does it flicker at that refresh rate or is it clear? Also, is your 1440p monitor running at 60hz or do you have to reduce that to lower refresh rate?

私も5月の末に同じモニターを購入して使用しています。Dell Display ManagerをDellからダウンロードするとWindows上から画面の切り替えや設定変更がモニターのボタンを触らずにできるのでおすすめですよ。

I started using Dell U3417W (curved) since 2018 and I am still using it. It is quite a good monitor and had no issue so far. However, after using this monitor for over 4 years what I came to realize is that curved monitor may not be the best solution for me. So, I am basically back in the market again looking for a 4K monitor. Also it must not be bigger than 32". I saw your Dell U4320Q review which a bit too big for me and D3221QS is curvy once again. I think I will go with Dell U3223QE. Thank you once again for such a detailed review. It was helpful and I am pretty sure others will find it useful as well. TC.

@@AsakoSengoku So, three weeks later I recently purchased the Dell U3223QE and I must admit, this is one of the best decision that I ever made as far as Monitor is concerned. I mean $1000 (USD) for monitor? Yes, it was expensive for me but we get what we pay for. Flat surfaced monitor is the way to go if productivity is our main purpose of using such monitor. Then again, as you mentioned earlier it definitely depends on individual's taste or preferences. As a Developer, I think I found what I was looking for so long. Thank you once again & have a nice weekend ahead.

Hi Asako, thanks for making this video and explaining how to connect the monitor a laptop. You are by far the only one provides more details on how to connect them. This is my struggle to understand all theses ports and try to connect the monitor to my laptop. Please excuse my ignorance, can I ask what is the purpose of far left USB port connects to laptop for? (I believe that one calls USB 3.0 upstream port, from their user's guide) What do you mean that "it transfers all USB connection of the computer to this monitor"? In another word, what can I not do if they are not connected? Thanks in advance.

Hi, thank you for your comment and sorry for the delay. I think if you don't connect it, you might not be able to use USB ports on the monitor. So if you need extra USB ports on your desk from the monitor, you should use this!

I like your set up, so I also try to connects the monitor with 2 laptops/ PC, and I saw in the video that you only use one set keyboard and mouse connects to the monitor. When I tried to switch to use another laptop which connects to HDMI 2, the keyboard/ mouse dose not work anymore. Please advise what you do to make the keyboard / mouse to work on both laptops/ PC. Thanks again. 🙂

気になっていた商品だったので、 とても参考になりました✨ 質問なのですが、 建築学部で主に図面の作成やイラレ・フォトショでの作業が主な用途になると思うのですが、図面作成をしている際、曲面ディスプレイ故に直線が曲がって見え作業がしにくいなどのデメリットは感じておりますでしょうか？ また、感じている曲面によるデメリットがありましたらお聞きしたいです😊

曲面でのデメリットはまだ感じていないです。作業も、直線のグラフィックを作るということはまだしていないので、画像か図面を描く上では直線が曲がって作業がしにくいということも感じたことなかったです。フラットの３２インチだと逆に首が痛くなりそうだなとは思います。
