Dell Dimension 3000: An iconic piece of computing

If you want to talk about Windows XP, you can't forget to bring up Dell Dimension models like these, alongside the IBM ThinkPads and Dell Latitudes. So, how well does this one hold up, about 19 years later, running Windows 2000?

Been using mine again for the past week. We’ve had it since 2005. It is a bit slow, but with a Pentium 4 HT, you can still use the internet on it if you’re careful.

This was my first pc. I remember saving my allowance for a while to pay for it in 2005 ish I think. I remember my dad and I custom ordering it off Dells website. What a great pc.

I'll likely upgrade the copy of Office 2000 to Office XP when I get around to it, since I broke Outlook on this computer.

My dell dimension 3000 looks different from than that
