I bought a G15 years ago and Dell themselves said it was a factory problem. I will never buy another dell computer in my life. Also yes, the battery drainage works, but I leave my pc without the screws because I find myself doing this over and over.

I really appreciate this Video! I’m an electrician for the military, but I only work on huge circuit cards and power supplies. This was super easy to figure out with your video. Looks like I have to buy this $100 Dell replacement battery🙄. The laptop came back on when I disconnected the battery from the MB and plugged it back in, and back into the wall to charge the battery.

Thanks so much 🙏🏽. I just needed to remove the battery connector & put it back in & now it’s working again. Problem was it died & wouldn’t charge or turn on anymore

I tried installing the new 86Wh from the old 56Wh battery and when i did so the computer ran slow and said that the battery was not made by dell so it wont charge. I wnt to do a bios set up and it said the battery was not giving enough power. Any fixes?

So the problem may be in the AC adapter. Maybe it is faulty and causing your batteries to break.

nono its dell glitch if laptop is on sleep and runs out of battery u have to disconect and connect aggain

one question i have a dell g15 5515 ryzen edition r7 5800h laptop with a 86wh battery. But in my country I can't find plugs for 86wh batteries. They only sell 56wh batteries, can I install this battery in my laptop without any problem? Because in the Dell specifications they present two types of batteries for this model of laptop. I hope you can answer me as soon as possible, thank you.
