I bought this exact laptop when it came out ... and i have got to say it is honestly amazing. I got the Ryzen 7 and it's super fast and handles multiple applications at the same time. The good thing is that it comes with 2 RAM slots so you can easily upgrade. Its also got tuned audio which amplifies the speakers and makes it sound better. For the price of £720 it has a better geekbench score than a MacBook which is £1k +.

@@eeoui0334 the fans are not something to worry about much. Most of the time they spin at very low or medium pace( if performing something demanding). However, it depends on what you’re using it for. As, for gaming, this laptop is not the one but it handles other things pretty swiftly (even on balanced mode). They can spool up if there’s lack of heat dissipation as if the outlets are covered. But they’re right below the screen so it’s all good 👍🏼

It weighs around 1.4kgs, its not as thin as Macbook Air, but its not as heavy as a Macbook Pro also. It sits in the middle. I like a little weight on my laptops as it highlights the durability and materials used. Weight distribution is good. It is centred.

This review has served me a lot and is very complete, thanks, I am in doubt between buying this Dell Inspiron 14 5415 | AMD Ryzen 5500 and a Lenovo IdeaPad 5 14´´ (Intel Core i5-1135G7), I read elsewhere that the Dell screen is inferior and that in graphic processing the Ryzen card (Vega 7) would be worse than the Iris Xe G7 of intel, will it be so? Iris graphics has 'slightly' better performance - around 5% to 10% roughly, depending on the processor (The Iris graphics in i7 processors offer 'slightly' superior performance compared to that in i5 processors). Regarding display, it is always better to have a display with 400 nits of brightness or more if you plan to use the laptop outdoors. Inspiron 14 5415 disappoints here as it has only around 250 nits of brightness. This is but sufficient for indoor use. Lenovo IdeaPad 14 too doesn't fare much better as its display averages around 300 nits only (The specs. might change from region to region. Please keep this in mind). A matte screen would also help with better visibility outdoors. The NTSC and sRGB values are important if you are into photo or video editing. It is always better to get a display having 72% NTSC if you are into editing [72% NTSC = 100% sRGB]. Take into account the general reliability of products and the quality of after-sales service offered by each company while taking the final decision.

One age old question I have ! Sometimes it is not used and other thing is, in a review that person couldn't run gta v above than 600p just because low graphics memory but i know there are lots of review of Ryzen 5500u with games and all and even you played it. But is there something wrong with the indian unit of dell 5415. Going to buy it today, please reply ASAP.

Maybe not okay for long hours of programming. For long hours you need an IPS display with 100% sRGB colour gamut.
