I wasn't sure how to go about changing my screen after I cracked the old one, but your video made it a snap. Thank you!!

This video was just what I needed to replace my cracked screen. Literally one hour from delivery of the new screen to being back on my computer.

Thank you for this easy to understand video. Despite following your video I somehow managed to not plug the backend connector properly and the computer started beeping after I booted it. But after I remove the screen again and made sure the connectors were perfectly aligned it worked as shown. Again, many thanks!

Thanks...Just replaced the screen. Went as you described. Your audio wasn't to clear when you talked about taking the main chip out, and in. I didn't realize it slid out, and in. Thanks again...

This rocks! Unconnecting and reconnecting the screen connection fixed my problem!! My laptop fell 50 cm on a rag floor, then the colors went crazy (like a goofy filter has been activated) + unwanted very light flickering appeared.

Thank You, just what I needed. I was back up and running in less then 1/2 hour after receipt of my screen. Everything is working beautifully. What is the difference between LP156WH4 and LP156WH2?

Hello, awesome tutorial on how to do this, was searching the screen diagram for this laptop, but nowhere to be found on the internet. I'm a computer technician, and have this same laptop, I've ran into some issues regarding the screen: The laptop screen flickers with some colored horizontal lines green and pink. sometimes appears squared boxes with the same colours. I've already replaced the video flex cable that goes from the motherboard to the back of the screen. But the problem still persists. I've connected the laptop through HDMI port to an external monitor, it just works fine. Said this; I think the GPU (Graphics Processing Unit) within the laptop works fine. I just need to make sure it's a faulty screen or another issue regarding video, before I order it online. Need to repair this laptop for a customer of mine. Sorry about the broken english. Nevertheless I will appreciate some advice of users or technician that have or had this same problem. Thanks in advance for your replies.

My screens not broken. It just fades out white and freezes. I have to bend it to get it working for a few mins then it will freeze and fade out white again. Does anyone know what this is? Is the screen gone, connector broken? If the connector is broken then is there a way to replace this? Thanks.
@dellpartspeople9 жыл бұрын
kieran cherrington If it's messed up right when you turn it on then it's either the screen or the cable. Bendin to fix is usually the screen itself. If it doesn't fade to white until laptop gets into windows, then it could be the on board video. Good Luck!
@1000ouija9 жыл бұрын
It is as soon as the laptop starts and has been getting progressively worse over the past few months. Now I can't getting a continues picture to stay unless I bend and hold the screen in a certain place. Thanks for you help! :)

@@1000ouija Hi, im facing the same problem. Have you got a solution to this problem?
@1000ouija5 жыл бұрын
Mush Ina hello there. Yeah I did fix this laptop many years ago. It wasn’t the flex cable it was the display. Very easy fix though. Cost about £50 for a new LCD. I hope you find a solution.
