Just wanted to drop by and say thanks. Not only were your instructions clear, you went over the sequence with enough emphasis that I was able to memorize the steps in one viewing. That proved especially helpful since the only internet capable computer I had at the time was the laptop, so upon viewing the video I unplugged my external monitor and did the job without any problems!

THIS IS GREAT! First off, great marketing campaign by putting these videos up and then a link to your website. Paid $89 delivered for 2 day shipping for the screen and it came with the screwdriver, tweezers, and exacto knife (albeit a low quality one, I didn't need it for much). Was able to uninstall the old and install the new within 20 minutes (I'm a 40 yr old atty with moderate tech skills). Works perfectly. Good luck to you, and thank you so much.

Geek Squad at BestBuy wanted to charge me 85.00 to just look at it. They would have to send it away and it could be 5-10 days. I needed my computer for work, couldn't do without it for that long. I told the GeekSquad guy about getting something online and he scoffed at me and said things can get broken. ScreenSurgeons sent me out one (incl Shipping and tools) for 100.00. When I got my screen, I followed along with the video and in less than 30 minutes I was up and working again. THX U!

Replaced the screen because of dim display, the led lites were not working. Put new one in and same problem. Bad cable? I checked fuses on board. They are fine. Any suggestions?

Yeah, the hinges on my g7 completely broke which to the screen cracking. I'm wondering if I could just remove the monitor because its just hanging by three wires now

Had my g7 less than a year, opened it one day and it cracked right up the middle. Called HP, had to talk to the obligatory offshore support, had me send it in, said it was under warranty. I do the whole Fedex dance, drop it off, and 3 days later I get a status update that basically says that the cracked screen is not under warranty, that it was caused by abnormal use and that they want me to give them 362.20 to fix it. I told them send it back. I fixed it myself for under $100.00.

if I were to just disconnect the screen. could I just plug in a HDMI TV to the laptop? or would it not work? I have a G7 laptop but the LED screen is cracked and the entire ecreen housing is broken off from the keyboard. but I have one loose almost metal like round cable loose. and another cable still connected to the screen. Haha So if I lean the screen against the wall and turn it on. the cracked LED screen still works. but I will like to trash the entire screen and lid and just use the keyboard part. connected to a TV set.
