Thanks for sharing this helpful video! I'm encountering an issue with my Dell Latitude E5440. While my original Dell laptop charger adapter appears to be functional (with a white LED when plugged into a wall socket), as soon as I connect it to my laptop's charging port, the LED on the charger adapter turns off. Additionally, I noticed a burnt smell emanating from the laptop charging port. Do you think replacing the charging port could resolve this issue? Currently, I'm unable to power on my laptop. Battery is not charged so I can't try power on by battery. Appreciate any insights or suggestions. Thanks!

That's a tricky one! Replacing the jack might fix it, but not sure if it cause collateral damage elsewhere! Not sure if you found a solution yet! But for $40 you can buy this model in working condition now and just swap HD. www.ebay.com/itm/135041520970
