Thank you so much for posting the vid ! After getting 8 beeps and a blank screen, I followed your instructions to the letter and opened up the screen, peeled the tape away, pulled the connector apart and simply reconnected it. When I pulled the tape over it again, it was no longer sticky or pristine and just hung loosely over the connection. Nonetheless, my Mini 1012 is working perfectly once more. So glad I didn't have to buy a new laptop. Thanks again.....you saved the day !!!!

I found this pretty helpful. My Mini10 has the "flush" bezel with that plastic screen protector. Other than that, it was identical internally.

I cant hear you on my computer. I'm done taking the LCD out with the exception of the connection at the top thats plugged into the top of the computer lid inside. I dont know what to do with that, I cant make out what you;re doing at that point. I disconnectd the taped connection at the bottm. I was told by the people on Ebay that I needed to take it apart in order to get the part numbers off the screen, so I'll go ahead & order one. But I still need to have those points clarified.. Tx

I have a dell inspiron mini 10. There is a dead ant that appears to be between the actual bezel and the screen. Is this possible? Or is it actually one piece?

An ex friends idiot kid stood on my net book while it was closed. The screen pixel is crack. If I replace the screen, will it still work

Although the video is good, definitely failed in a crucial part as it's quite difficult to put the bezel back after replacing the display. A little bit more of time spent to explain how to do it would had been great. Remember, it's much easier to disassemble than to put thing together afterwards. Thanks anyway for sharing
