thanks bro, you just saved my old mouse from throwing into bin. it was dust that was collected in wheel which caused scroll malfunction, i cleaned it and voila! its working super smooth.

Thanks buddy.. my mouse left click unresponsive. Tried ur trick and it worked. Just one suggestion, it was a bit tricky to remove the upper case and later fit it back in due to the plastic clips inside on the front. As the same was not mentioned in the video it took me some time to figure that out by myself. Would have been better if u had mentioned that too in ur video.

Yes it is 2$, but there is time.... Time to go to shop, find and buy mouse and than return back and continue what you were doing on PC. And fixing mouse can save that time. 🙂

I have been facing a click failure problem. I will try the tip given in this video. Thanks for sharing it. Nonetheless, even if one faces problem with the sroll bottom, which is not my case, it seems it is not necessary to pull out the circuit board from the plastic base case.

Not recommended.. but you may try sewing machine oil.

The end part is actually the footage backwards (2:10). You cannot glue it back so perfect.
