2:10 These thermal values seem off unless you live in a 28C ambient temperature house.

4:00 I'm sceptical of the utilisation values shown in this segment as i highly doubt you got it to x% utilisation of everything, but at least it's an approximation.

@BsianDad Thank you for the precise informative video. I am glad to find this video on KZbin. I am searching for a compact desktop for about six months. It would be great to get a comparison with NUC ghost canyon.

If I get one with Intel UHD GPU, shall I be able to upgrade it later with NVIDIA RTX 300?
@BsianTech2 жыл бұрын
Yes you can use the integrated graphics and then add in a graphics card later on if you like.

can you put an NVIDIA 3050 in this compact computer?

@BsianDad - did you get CPU thermals when at 100%? I'm getting 125F at the exhaust port and not sure of CPU usage as the computer mostly just sits there.

repaste it, I using good thermal paste, and it won't hit 100C even stress test. (p.s. 10700 + T400)

This pc is great but it gets very hot. I do not know if this is normal and acceptable. With normal use the i7 10700 cpu temp is around 70 degrees Celsius and with a 15% or 20% cpu load the temp directly within seconds jumps to 85 to 90 degrees C. Often with load it reaches temps around 90 to 92 degrees C. Can someone please confirm that this is normal for this unit. The pc case gets extremely warm too, the underside even heats up the desk. You burn your fingers if you touch the underside. For the rest a great pc. Thanks.

I have the 10500 variation, and mine idles at 60c. Fans won't really kick in till near 100c. It runs hot in general. I had to use speed fan to control fan curve.

@Andy Muzzo, would the A3000 be powerful enough for your needs or is processor power really what you after?
@andymuzzo85683 жыл бұрын
@@BsianTech yeah it would be more than sufficient. Mainly doing intensive spreadsheets. And occasionally 3D modeling

I see that in the benchmarking software it says "Quadro RTX 3000" but you have it listed as an A3000. Both of these are two different GPUs. Does this dell have an actual new "A" series card or is it an older Quadro RTX 3000 card? Nvidias naming has gotten confusing here lol.
@EdawDoog3 жыл бұрын
Update: On the website it says it's a Quadro RTX 3000 which differs from the A3000. The passmark score would also suggest it's the older Turing RTX 3000. Regardless of what GPU it is, that little box kicks some major ass. Performance density these days is crazy.
