Very, very good review. Haven't seen this channel before but that review was professional, informative and easy to watch. Thank you for taking the time to make it!

Picked this up the other day. At least initially, I'm not a huge fan of the keyboard. And the processor only seems to slow down under load, like installing applications or Windows updates. But otherwise seems fairly responsive to normal everyday tasks. The build quality is superb and I love the near bezel-less display. I opted for the 1080p simply for increased battery life. The 2-1 capability is very nice and I find myself enjoying touch input more than I thought I would.

I have it, it plays even 8k videos, ultra! The only issue I have with it, is that it runs hot when I launch Bluestack Emulator to run Android apps. I guess it's because it has only 2 cores, which doesn't make it underperform.

good review. after crushing my lap top 3 days ago as i unconsciously rolled over in bed i did a lamans research on a new lap top. it was almost an impossible task. as many positive reviews i found there were the negatives on the countless devices i browsed upon this review helped seal my decision. thank you sir

Hi! Great review!! I am travelling to USA next week and need to buy a 2 in 1 laptop. I am getting mad watching, reading about the best laptop nowadays. My priority is Thunderbolt 3, if it comes with more than one port, would be nice! But the most important thing is that the laptop must be noiseless. I mean I wouldn't like to be at bed at night using it as a tablet and hearing an annoying noise or just an audible sound. I have seen so many comments about the new HP X360 and people confirmed the irritable and permanent noise from its fans. So as you are the expert, which 2 in 1 or at least, a touchscreen laptop do you recommend to me?? My budget goes around 1500. Pls note that the main use is for downloading multiple files at the same time, or watch movies connected to a 65" 4K TV, or for example I use to have Multiples windows opened in my Web browser switching to Excel spreadsheets all the time. Hope you can help me to decide! Have a nice weekend. Regards. Julio

Great review T. Very comprehensive compared most the other 5 minute reviews where I learn nothing. Apart from the bogan in the sound test. I think they listened with the power button as I would always complain on other Dell 2 in 1's when you had it in tablet mode and put it on the table on the edge with the power button, it would shut it down. Now that shouldn't happen.

Thanks! I can see why they made the power button the way they did, but it is a bit annoying to turn on as you really have to give it a good press. Overall I have to say this is a nice machine but not quite as powerful as the traditional Dell XPS 13. Cheers.

Good video, but how can you say it’s a great keyboard without mentioning the horrible page up/down buttons?

So I'm a freshman in high school and I really want to find a laptop to buy for school. I need it to be windows and I want it to be a portable one. Maybe a 2-1 would be good. The most crucial part of the laptop is that it has to be under 500 dollars. Could you help me find one?

I thought that the active pen was only fully functional with the 4K display?
@andrewmarcdavid

I think you mean the HP Spectre x360. They just released a 4K version with pen support. All models of the Dell XPS 13 2-n-1s come with pen support.

too expensive and too heavy. keyboard does not detach. Bezels look smaller at least. Normal people don't have $1300 dollars for this dud. PASS.
@andrewmarcdavid
@andrewmarcdavid 7 жыл бұрын
I wouldn't call it a dud lol! I think if you are going to spend that kind of money I agree that a traditional core I-7 would be better. But some people want a thin and light convertible with pen support. This does the job in that scenario. I do agree it is over priced.
My thoughts on framework after daily driving it for 2 years
