I am also having dell inspiron and it is performing like a beast bro..In my hostel most of the students purchased hp laptops to save 4 to 5k but now they are regretting after seeing look and performance of my inspiron..just to check dell after sell service we tried to contact them and believe me they solved our issue in 25 min

@Study Account well definitely the richer ones then. Because i can't see a student spending over a lakh for a laptop for study purposes, especially in our country. It doesn't make sense for most of the "middle class". I can definitely see students buying something from the Inspiron series though, which is much, much cheaper and can get the job done. Also even the reviewer suggested that the laptop is good for working professionals and for showing off.

I recently bought Dell XPS 13+ UHD+, i5, 16 GB RAM, 512 GB SSD, and I returned it after 5 days. My total usage in those 5 days was not more than 1-1:30 hours. Reason being extremely pathetic (poor would still be better) battery life, my usage didn’t even include consuming media content yet. It included web browsing and some work on word and battery drained a lot like 1%-1.5% every minute. If you think UHD resolution is the reason then think again because I had kept it at 720p and around 30% or 30 points of brightness and as per “experts” resolution doesn’t matter to battery life apparently but still battery was in no mood to co-operate. I took it to the vendor and he tried updating it and doing all sorts of magic stuff but could only extract 2-2.5 of battery life. So if you’re planning to buy this laptop then please don’t. It’s not even for a person who uses it for everyday work and for mild entertainment forget about creators. Pro: Design is beautiful Con: The whole above mentioned review which outweighs the pros. Please Don’t go straight for the expert reviewers opinion because they receive complementary review models (which might be good) and have got nothing to lose unless they give honest feedback, whereas you do. Extremely disappointed with Dell & check out “just josh” review video on Dell XPS 13+ after one month usage.

Although there are so many laptops that come with this configuration at a lower price but when it comes to design, looks, build quality and reliability as well as longevity then MacBook always takes the 1st position. After a long, DELL has invented something new and this design and technology as the day passes will become much more popular among the users. Besides there are few people who doesn’t like macOS or uncomfortable with that. They will definitely grab it for this attractive looks. Price is on a higher side. Still it’s justified when the newer technology comes into consideration.

Anyways first if all dell or any other laptop manufacturer doesn't use steel so stop your nonsense. 2nd it's is alluminium allow with low carbon. How do u define carbon % in metal and carbon foot print of metal manufacturing process? Choose any metal u r comfortable with but no Google Gyan pls. I guess battery backup has been the main issue for the highest specs version, I read in reviews it's around 4 hours. So I urge you to test that before claiming 6-7 hours, because people believe u and put their hard money in buying products. I know phones u get away with a lot of things but laptops are a bigger investment for users so test before claiming anything.
