This laptop was my first one in my life and graduation and after 13 years and multiple cleaning, it's still runs like new ❤. I really love the build quality and the overall experience of this machine 😊

Me too! - I still have mine, but alas, it has some issues that are beyond my expertise. - One day I'll get it looked at though, I still love it!

How much max storage it supports (ssd)?

Thank you very much. I cleaned my Dell Xps 15 L502x (actually quite the same) and renewed the thermal paste and it's still working :) Not faster, not quieter, but hey. It was worth it to gain experience.

Whoever designed this laptop made sure that people have to suffer just to clean the damn fan

Thank you. I couldn't figure out how to get the keyboard out and I didn't want to break the case so your video help me figure out how to remove that bezel around the keyboard.

I have this laptop. So much step, just to get inside.

Go easy on it, you're being rough. After almost a decade, the plastic is quite brittle on these. Out of the 17 screws, all of 10 is what's holding mine together. And you almost wrecked the bezel doing that nasty pull, it's so easy if done right. All you gotta do is pull up at the inside edge next to keyboard, and snap the two locks inside battery well. The bezel will pop right out. 10 seconds tops. The whole unit can be taken apart and put back together in 10 minutes. These are among the last of the good Dells.

You should read the disassembly guide, getting the keyboard bezel off would be a lot less painful to watch and never handle a display cable in that manner.
Hello, can you please tell me the model number of the Samsung ssd that you have installed, thanks.

Do you reuse the termal pads?
@BrueComputing5 жыл бұрын
I'd recommend using fresh thermal paste.

Hey Can we add faster RAM in this laptop? If yes then what speed would it support?
@BrueComputing4 жыл бұрын
You can fit faster DDR3 modules, but they'll only run at DDR3-1600 speed.

@@jjajin77 There's a magnet near the microphone. So the switch should be around the left mouse button.

@debojitrabha25024 жыл бұрын
You cannot upgrade laptops cpu. The only one that I know of is Thinkpad t440p.
@automanium45634 жыл бұрын
@@debojitrabha2502 Back in the day most laptops cpu were actually upgradable because it was socketed and can be easily moved out to put another in. I had dozens of laptops from 2015 and under with socketed motherboards
