I was heart broken that covid took John Prine. I had an opportunity to catch one of his last concerts in Virginia, but thought I would catch him the next time around. It should be a heavenly concert.

These young ladies are an emended talent. Wonder how I went this long before finding them?

Yep, I stumbled across the bluegrass festival outside Sacramento, California on my way moving from Hawaii to Oregon. I stopped and camped at the festival for a few days and found these ladies in the acts playing. They were wonderful. I was able to pull up close in front with a folding chair. There were so many great bands playing, workshops and just people playing music around the campsites late into the night.

@@Wakeupandsniffthecoffee Wow. Sounds like a great experience. I’m no where close to California but can you remember the name of the festival?

Prine hisself talked about a lady who asked hin to sing his Happy Enchilada song. John said he was pretty sure he never wrote or sang a song about a happy enchilda. Sher persisted - that's the way the world goes around...

That was a hilarious song/story. He was a master of seeing things in a different light.

For all you 32 thousand plus that listened to this Della Mae song. I have a playlist that includes all of them from my summer California bluegrass festival campout. Pleasee let me know if you enjoy them. They make me smile everytime I hear them. Judging from the views, most of these have barely been found. Maybe this playlist will make a difference. kzbin.info/aero/PLPBJnvrpbpIU8Sh6MOwVQdz_SmUZik6_t
