Also you can get disinfectant wipes specifically for pacifiers (or dummies as we call them in the UK). Although I’ve never used them, my kids didn’t use dummies.

You can ask TSA to put on new gloves. We do that when we travel with our daughter. Most of the time the agent is happy to change, especially if they know it’s baby stuff.

I’m a germaphobe also and worry about TSA touching my stuff too and even in my checked bag. I pack everything in ziploc bags either by category or by outfit. I use 2 gallon ones for my clothes and 1 gallon for my kids. It’s so easy to take the bag to the bathroom to change your child and if they have a blow out you just put the dirty clothes in the ziploc bags. You can squeeze out all the air. You could put paci’s in one, toys in another, bottles in another one, etc. As long as TSA can see everything they usually do not open the bags. Instead of a changing pad I recently saw a hack of using puppy pads, or hospital bed pads. You can just bundle everything in it to throw away and you don’t have to worry about germs on your changing pad.

For Story’s Passi you can get a passi clip I think I’m staying it right and if she try’s to throw it it’s kinda hard but my brother learned how to take it off but then you can just put it back on

My kid usually ends up crawling around on the floor, then sooner or later his hands are in one of our mouths, and I’m like oh well ooops, building immunity lol 😂 He hasn’t been sick yet, so guess it’s working, but still keeping those unopened Clorox wipes in my bag for good luck I guess 🙈

Can you get gallon size bags that are clear to put the pacifiers and bottles n it? Some of her books may fit in the gallon size bags as well. Then they would not be touched. TSA would still be able to see what you have in the bags, and they will not open it.

When my son was little, he would love to throw his pacifier on the floor and I found these pacifiers that if you throw them on the floor, they close up automatically so that they don’t get contaminated. The TSA guy was just doing his job. There is Global Entry if expedited clearance is the goal. Otherwise, if you travel, kid or not, you’re accepting the possibility of being subjected to a secondary inspection. Even if you’re a mom, even if you’re special, even if you’re an influencer, etc…
