Yes, paramotors are extremely safe, but ONLY if you get the right training and equipment... With the right gear and training, like a Flat Top, Dominator, and Super Training, you are at a much higher risk of getting hurt on your way to fly than when you're actually flying...
So yes, it can be very VERY safe :)

I do 5 training classes a year with 12 students a class down in Corpus Christi, Texas. I've been running these training classes for 18 years and have trained over 700 students safely.

I started with a Flat Top EVO 12 years ago and then moved onto the Flat Top 200 Super. In my view paramotoring is probably the safest form of human flight.

Yes tons all over KZbin. Of course probably the most valuable proof is in this very video. Notice the guy talking? Yup, I'm still alive lol. In fact I've never once been injured and I'm the one out doing what no others on earth can do. You don't make it to my skill level without massive experience and you don't get massive experience if you are dead. So it's simple logic that the Flat Top is the only way to go as that's what we all fly and have the best safety record on earth with.

There are many extremely dishonest ignorant people who slap something together without any clue at all and just claim it's an "upgrade". They lie. Literally, every single thing he pretended was an "upgrade" totally jacked it up and it's 7 lbs HEAVIER which just by itself makes it completely worthless. It's a horrible unit that bangs you in the back of the legs as they totally jacked everything up royally. I went through the video where he makes all the claims though and have 2 pages of lies I've market down for my video about it. Things like look at a Walkerjet from 18 years ago with the slant to the comfort bars. Umm yea that was fixed on the Flat Top because what happens when you spread your legs to stand up and try to take a passenger that needs to fit between your knees? Doh! Your legs smash into those bars horribly. Nope a super heavy chunk of playwood is not for "acro" it's for idiots because it will snap right in half. The Flat Top used $2000 a sheet honeycomb composite that is the lightest strongest material there is. Spectra cloth vs super heavy cheap cheap stuff... on and on literally every single claim was a lie. The really fun one was "kidney crushers". Anyone take biology know where their kidneys are? How does something behind you and below your butt crush your "kidneys"? lol. Do you seriously think the best pilots in the world would even fly it if they were getting bruises every time they flew? Again zero crushed kidneys just lie after lie from a guy who tried to get a teenage girl to commit suicide. The guy is so freaking evil a good decent person can hardly comprehend how sick people like that are.

That's exactly what I just explained but since you hate truth just like he does you really don't care one bit about the actual facts. Honest people feel more comfortable buying from honest people. My question is I just watched Aviator show explain oscillation and how to stop it, they said if you are not a skilled pilot let the isolation go and let off the power to your engine isolation after three or four times. And if you are a skilled pilot when the isolation happens when do right wing is that the deepest point oh, that is when you pull the brake on the right side not like the video I watched of yours that says to pull the right or left brake turning on the direction the wing is oscillating when it is overhead. In aviators directions what will happen when you pull a strong right sing of your wing?

Those at Aviator don't have even the most basic skills and are not instructors. They are totally clueless and flat out dishonest going around pretending to give advice when they don't have a clue what they are talking about. When you are launching or landing how exactly do you let off the power to stop an oscillation? WHAP!! It all starts with glider control mastery. Every SUPER student can kite forwards & backwards with no hands and with their eyes closed and kite all day without ever ever taking a collapse before they even take their first flights so they are literally beyond expert level before they ever fly. Not one single person at Aviator can even do what brand new SUPER students can do. Just watch the video where all 4 of their fake instructors try to do a run & jump and 3 of them take a collapse and Eric Farewell pounds in as he does it completely wrong and backwards. It's horrifying to watch people like that pretending to instruct. So first master the glider and then the second you leave the ground on your first flights we are immediately walking you through torque and oscillation control. Since you will already have better than expert level skills with the glider it's more just a brush up and you pick it up very quickly. To stop energy you brake against the energy not with it. by 12-15 flights you can see SUPER students getting really good at oscillation control. It comes very quickly when you have already mastered glider control skills. At the scammers at Aviator you don't get 1-3 HOURS of kiting!!! So they are chucking people in the air without even the slightest ability to properly control or react to the glider or working out over controlling. It's a complete and total nightmare of carnage & death. Most people respond to the glider with 5 ft of brake when they start. That takes 6-9 days to work into responding with 1/4th to 1/2 INCH corrections. So chucking people in the air without any real glider control is a nightmare waiting to happen. It's obviously not as simple as just saying "do this" to control oscillation. It takes 25-60 HOURS of mastering glider control into feel and reflexes, then training on the exact amount and timing of oscillaiton control and then you have to drop glider size after glider size as each size smaller you get more oscillation and responsiveness so if you don't drop to smaller gliders you haven't really learned to master it. Plus with a huge gigantic slow glider you are very limited in when you can fly and don't have much margin for error on the wind picking up. Aviator is absolutely horrific. I wish I could say they were good and I would just beat their price but they are so horrifically terrible I must say so as it's my moral obligation. They are straight-up totally incompetent and flat out dishonest without the slightest care for people's lives. Just look at the specific skills I mentioned and see if you can find then even doing basic things like brand new SUPER students. They literally don't have even the most basic understanding of the sport.

If someone pays up front the $15,500 for training and the gear yet they don't pass the test do you offer a full refund besides the $2500 for training?

No. Everyone can learn. If you don't pass the first class you can come back all you like over and over as you only pay once. If you do come back through a second time you do have to cover your own lodging and gear of course. Even if you do pass the first class though I would highly encourage people to come back through. I have one student that has only missed 3 classes in over 2 years. It's seriously the funnest trip ever. It's just a total blast. We put an incredible amount of time and effort into training people. Do we get all that time back if you quit? No. If you are unsure it's for you then it's not for you. It's another of the reasons I don't sugar coat anything in my videos. I simply tell the truth straight up. Those who can't deal with truth straight up are simply not a good fit for aviation. It's not for everyone. It's for those that KNOW it's for them. I mean when I just heard about it literally having never even seen it or even seen a video back then I just heard it explained to me I KNEW without a doubt it was for me. I could instantly see the unlimited possibilities of having your own personal aircraft that fits in the trunk of your Jaguar and can launch ANYWHERE. I didn't need to try it to see I absolutely KNEW the value of it just logically from hearing of it's capability. Of course now with KZbin and my having about 1000 videos out there of everything you could possibly want to see if you are still unsure then it's probably just not for you. You can see what's physically required when you watch my 10 year old launch or a 13 year old girl with SUPER training. You should have a decent understanding if you are physically capable of doing what you see in the videos or not. Why would we spends soooo much time and effort on someone paying for their lodging, all the gear, rental cars, any damage to the gear, flying the best assistant instructors in from around the world... only to lose money if you quit when it got hard for you? My classes are all full. So I hope I offend the weak minded lol. Please let my classes be full of those who are not quitters and those who are ready to make it freaking happen. You can see from my videos it's literally the coolest thing EVER!! It's a bit like karate though. You can't take a few classes and then blame the instructor when you get your butt kicked. You have to be the guy with character and discipline and determination to succeed and with the honor of taking responsibility for yourself. After all I don't train you. I show you how to train yourself. It's you who has to take what I say and then MAKE it happen. Whether you pass the first class or not I will work my butt off to get you absolutely as far as I possibly can in the time we have and then you can just keep coming back over and over if you need or want to. How long does it take the average person to become a skilled pilot? Never. The average person NEVER becomes a skilled pilot. This is for the person who is a bit sharper than average and bit quick with a bit more confidence and character and determination. SUPER training is like the Navy Seals of paramotor training. It's simply not for sissies or for those who would be offended by my saying that lol. If you want to be the absolute coolest person ever then simply MAKE it happen.

​@@DellSchanzeI have no doubt I can learn the necessary skills to begin basic flight on a PPG and I've got pretty thick skin too. Like you I road raced bikes and have crashed at 140+ mph so I don't think I'm one to shy away from adrenaline sports nor am I a quitter. I do have knee and shoulder injuries which I feel I could push thru, I'd just would need a lot of ice and icy hot. LoL So how long after training does it take to receive your gear and what additional gear is recommended besides the wing, motor and reserve? Does the flat top motor require re-jetting and if so do you provided the jets and gaskets? Do you provide parts service for the Flat top and what's the typical turn around time? Do you provide annual wing inspections and reserve repacking and inspections? Does the Flat Top come with an owners manual with motor maintenance suggestions and torque specs? @@madsloper I have 11 vertibra fused together from motorcycles accidents and a hip bolted on, hand bolted together and so many others I can't even count. So if I'm the best pilot in the world it's really not about physical ability. It's simply about skill. So it's physically much easier than people expect as even a 10 year old can do it. It's all about coordination and skill. If you rip on superbikes like that then it should be right up your alley though man. It takes a very sensitive feel to ride well. Same with flying. I would order the gear when you reserve a spot for training as it saves you money and helps you get your gear by time your training is done. The Flat Top 200R, Dominator and super mini reserve is the ticket. Just add a weight shift kit and stuff bad but that's nothing. That's exactly what I fly with. lol it's a Flat Top. No it doesn't require re-jetting or dinking with. It's very very simple. Yes we have all the parts and service available for the Flat Top lol. Our service department is pretty much empty. It's extremely rare to need service that would take sending it in.. Parts are in stock and ship very quickly. Service is pretty fast as well if you did ever need it as you would likely have the only unit here lol. Serious issues are incredibly rare. Annual wing inspections? lol. These things are so overbuilt I've never had one inspected personally. The only reason to really have it inspected is if you did something crazy like land in a tree and then rip the tree down using the glider. If you are concerned with it or it has insane hours and you see physical wear then yes send it in or just trade it in. Ever play with the little army guys with the parachute as a kid? You wrap it around his neck and it still opens? Again yes we have the service but it's pretty rare to need that. Yes we carry all the factory lines and have them all in stock but if we were out for any reason it's really easy to have them made and we would fix you up. The manuals are online. We do go through the complete walk through and service on the motor at the class or you can just watch the video of us doing it. It also comes with a check list so you don't forget anything. One of the greatest things about a Flat Top & Dominator and super mini reserve is you don't have to dink with it. Just put fuel in it and go fly. Do your pre-flight and post flight inspections but most of all if you hear anything change then figure out what it is. Almost everything will give you quite a bit of warning. Even spark plugs generally start to just miss at the high end when they get old or it starts getting hard to start. So it's not like an airplane where you have to check and replace every single thing way way before it needs to be. With SUPER training you should know to never ever put yourself in a situation where a motor out is anything more than inconvenient. Again I am not one that likes to dick around with gear. These things are so well build and designed by me to have the absolute best reliability possible that you really don't have to dink with it. Just pay attention. Listen to your motor. When you do your run up and hear the engine and prop and feel the thrust on your back you quickly become hyper-aware if anything changed. If you hear something isn't quite right then fix it. If it ain't broke don't fix it. :) Yes there are stated hours things should be changed in the manual. I've never bothered doing that even once. As you gain experience you really start to hear the motor talk to you. If there is a squeal or squeak or vibration or rattle that isn't supposed to be there then listen and give it some love. Otherwise you do your pre-flight and post-flight and it's really very simple. Even a dirt bike takes more dinking with. Far more. Constantly changing tires and fork seals and dicking with the chain and air filters and oil changes.... bla bla bla. With the 2 stroke Flat Top you simply mix the oil in the gas and presto. You are good.

I was just curious to know if you have ever had to throw your reserve flying a Dominator or anything else? I have been researching for months now, and I intend to start paramotoring with training. You have me convinced that your training is best and I plan to sign up with your school and go through SuperTraining. I am an instrument rated private pilot and I recognize the value and importance of intensive training for any activity where gravity is involved because it will get the “W” every time. The other schools DO NOT teach the fundamental essential skills that put the odds in the pilot’s favor as far as I can tell. The money and time are worth it if you want to engage in a potentially dangerous activity and you want stay alive. Shortcuts and inadequate training (If you can call it that) can and will get you killed. Thank you for the advice, see you soon👍

I have thrown 4 times. 3 were doing maneuvers over a lake where I was doing insane stuff on purpose. The one in the real world was not on a safe glider. I've never thrown a reserve flying a Dominator in a real life scenario. The Dominator is insanely safe. Good for you on doing your research. I've never seen any other school in the world even remotely close to super training either. It's pretty amazing the world records super students have achieved during their class.
