Especially considering that they've absolutely crushed it with the new interior. I love the Super Duty and I love the exterior of the 2020 model but the interior on the Platinum and Limited trim levels are very disappointing.

Great job on the video and I will be getting a 3500 later this year. I can't believe the prices the other truck makers are asking when the inside of the RAM is much better, no plastic everywhere and pricing will be lower after the negotiations. It is the true value in the truck segment. I was considering Ford, but with a bad back, I will be testing both for comfort.

Very well done on the review. I have a 2018 Ram 2500. Tradesman model . Love it. Don't need all the upscale goodies. Anybody looking at getting into a new Ram know your budget and stick to it. Don't get intoxicated by looking at the upscale models . It's tough to walk away with the salesman baiting you 😁.

Wow, this truck has everything, it has a button in the cab to let down your tailgate, surprised they don't have a button to auto roll your bed cover too..that would be nice to hit a button to open your tailgate then hit another to roll up your cover on your bed before you get out of truck.

Your did an outstanding review...thank you. I have a 2015 RAM 2500 Limited and it looks like they have made all the improvements in the 2019 model year that I thought should be made to my truck: the headlights, placement of USB's, addition of USBc, increased volts/watts to the 3 prong and addition of outlet to the exterior etc. I am curious to know if they've increased or plan to increase the fuel capacity as I feel that 31 gallons is inadequate...45 would be good. If you get one of these I advise against the Rambox option...I have them and I wish I had opted for a cap instead. They're not as useful as I thought they'd be and the power locks keep breaking...I can lock them with the key so I just keep them locked. I've had my truck for 3.5 years and I've put 112,000 problem free miles on it. Thanks again for the great video! Regards, Tom

Work on zooming in and out and not shaking the camera and you will have very professional video! Your flow going over options on the truck and how you explained them was very good. You've done better covering this truck than most of the others I've watched. These new rams have my attention so I've watched a few.

Great Job on the video - super informative!! Can you give us some of the upgrades between the black series and the limited? I noticed the black series has the floor storage and the limited doesn't. It seems like black series has same options but limited has better interior materials - is that accurate or am I missing something?

I am a huge fan of this truck but I am surprised that they didn't include the steering wheel from the new 1500. Very weird in my opinion becuase who would design a brand new truck and put the old stuff in it? It sounds counter-intuitive to me. However, Ram is definitely desigining some exqusite trucks. I am not a huge truck guy, but once I saw the F250 come out I started to fall in love with trucks due to their capability and comfort. Furthermore, with the luxury amenities that RAM is incorporating into their trucks, it could seriously give some luxury SUVs a run for their money. Also, whats even more noteworthy is that with strict EPA laws, trucks aren't as inefficent and toxic to the enviornment like they used to be and thats a huge plus. If i had the money I would buy the Ram 2500 Laramie Longhorn, I think the color scheme is much better and I am a huge fan of brown leather. What would be cool though is if RAM had interior ambient lighting. That would put this truck on a completely different level.

I think it's an economy of scale situation, and the trucks are currently being produced in Mexico. The 1500s are produced in the US at the Warren Mi plant.

Most companies use the ild stuff in the 2500's even after the 1500 completely changes. Ford used the old style steering wheel for a long time in the f250. Even when the f150 got new

I didn't hear or you didn't mention if it had heated seats? It has everything else, but hidden storage under back floor. But you have the tool box fenders. This is an assume truck. One of the things everyone fails to mention is how difficult the diesel engine is to work on. O own a duramax hd 2500. I love the quiet operation of its engine and the Allison trany that is with it, however it is horrible to work on. Everything is jammed in. A water pump replacement means dissembling the front of the motor down to harmonic balancer pulley. Just to free up one bolt. What cummins has over durmax and the ford diesels is everything is pretty easy to get to if you have normal wear and tear a few years down the road. Its not even close. Up to this 2019 model dodge had fallen behind in top end design for the interior stuff and some exterior stuff. Ah not any more. This 2019 is setting a standard that no other 2500 can beat. Great job Dodge! And the bed tool boxes? Stroke of genius! no more hard to get to stupid looking large tool boxes. Everything is at at arms length. Again a step above the competition. I know you don't want to talk repairs in a presentation, but for us back yard mechanics its a huge deal to have everything accessible in work on.

The only thing in like about the Duramax is the Allison transmission, Rumor has it is that Allison has licensed the "Allison" name to GM for its new 10 speed transmission in its 2020 HDs, It might not be a TRUE Allison, if thats the case i'll be extremely disappointed. Ram has knocked it out of the park with these new trucks.

Wow thanks. I have a 16 ram 3500 SRW with the AISIN Transmission. So I was very interested to see what the new tow ratings are and it’s pretty surprising 25,150 lbs max TOW, With a GCWR of 33,610 lbs for a SRW and a 3.73 axle ratio. That’s more than the 3500 duly Duramax. You should probably make a video about this.

Yes^^^^^ all of the seats are heated/ventilated with the exception of the middle of the bench seats.

Two buttons are blank in the rear (to the inside of the heated seat buttons). It is NOT ventilated in the rear seating (but the 1500 uniquely is). 2/25/2019 I believe now that they are an option.

I'm not 100% sure its leather but its not hard plastic, its very soft compared to what the other manufacturers are offering, It MIGHT be a mixture of multiple materials.

Only if all these trucks wasn't so overpriced for the piece of shit they are! Any and every brand starts to almost falls apart the moment you put on the road. Got all those dam features like it's a bentley or rolls Royce to jack up unnecessary asking prices just to end up with a piece of crap.

They have improved the quality like crazy since 2015 and I think this is the year that they really become a top tier brand in terms of quality. NOW the 2019 trucks being re-designs will have a lot of problems, Every time a new re-desinged vehicle comes out the first year is riddled with issues, so its to be expected that these vehicles have some recalls.
