awesome vid as always! I already have a procurer in dital and I'm loving basing out of your citadel. As someone who has been watching your videos for years I'm glad that you finally have a means for helping other industrial players out and I can't wait until you have a large citadel set up with a market hub and everything else. you keep going on about peoples stuff being on the line if it gets blown up, unless you're in a wormhole, there's an automatic asset safety that kicks in, you have a 5 day wait to move it for free, after that it'll go to the nearest NPC station for a fee

+draconas rayne It is only free if you are recovering it to "an NPC station, outpost, or Citadel in the same system the assets were originally located". If that is the only place you have docking rites in the system, you will have to wait 20 days and pay 15% of the asset's value to recover it. support.eveonline.com/hc/en-us/articles/208289365-Asset-Safety

No we said rather different things, You stated you could freely move it after 5 days which I pointed out isn't necessarily true in a system with no stations. You also neglected to mention that if you have to move it out of the system it is a much longer and more inconvenient wait time, which I clarified. Finally you replied to "I thought it was a percentage" with "everything afaik" and that is really a perspective issue since that fee is 15% of the value of the stuff. Meaning that in effect you may only get back 85% of your stuff. In short you were making a case that nothing is really on the line and I was pointing out that in a system with no station, like the one delonewolf is set up in, 15% of your stuff may be on the line not to mention a whole lot of inconvenience, and that ain't nothin'.

These seem like great passive isk makers if you charge for clones and offices, and get fees for other actions.

Almost every time I see a Citadel I think of Gen. Patton’s (movie) quote; “Fixed fortifications are monuments to the stupidity of man. If mountain ranges and oceans can be overcome, then anything built by man can be overcome.”Why don’t they get some used up asteroids, add weapons to some of them and tell everyone that you’re required to follow the trail or be fired upon.

How does one go about making, building one? What does it take to get one may be another way of asking. I am fairly new to the game and want to make one or maybe a moon base. What are the differences in the two buildings? You mentioned “corporate office” what are they? I would ask in game but most people don’t seem to have any answers for me. Or at least non that make sense.

so the cost of an S structure is not very high 400M ish. It takes minerals and PI materials, those combine to structure parts and those make the structure. Just look for the blueprint on the market for the information and then look for a BPC for a few M in the contracts.

When I first saw a Citadel my first thought was. "Can battle debris (hull, structures, ect.. ) be cheaply reprocessed and be used to build a Citadel?" Think of all the Isk that could be saved and create such a profitable industry?

astrahus's are cheap to run fully fitted put 1500 fuel blocks a week and a half ago still have 1000 of em.

Very well put together video. You are by far the best independent info video maker of eve. One question though about the citadel being open to everyone... do the isk spent on offices that other Corporations go to you seeings as it is in your citadel?

yes, you can ask a fee for the services and that fee will go to your corp wallet. The services in my citadel are free of charge though, you van set the fees at 0.

I'm thinking of getting back into EVE after learning more about the citadels (I left before the great war broke out earlier this year), but until I find a corporation of my own to join, would you be alright with me staging out of your Astrahus for the time being while I figure out what I'm wanting to do? Also on the subject of wardecs and allies, I have been a fan of your videos for a long time now and I greatly appreciate the commentary on updates so if you need an additional body, shoot me a mail and I'll do my best to be there. (Just like asking before I use someone else's stuff, personal quirk)

ofcourse, the citadel is public for that reason, i think Dital is a great system to find out what you enjoy with good access to 0.0, lowsec and all HS pve activities. the only downside is that there are not that many good mission agents nearby.

hey wolf, i was considering getting back into eve. its been a long time. when i last played, i was a droner with nearly all drone skills maxed. i was piloting a rattlesnake and ishtar, working towards a thanatos. i was wondering, are there new and better or updated ships for a droner? i read the ishtsr was nerfed and perhaps a gila would be nice?

Gila is very nice and Ishtar while nerfed is still very viable. carriers don't use drones anymore but the new sister of EVE ships are drone boats.

+delonewolf oh i knew carriers cant use drones. i had wanted to get into a thanatos just because well, it is the natural progression for someone with nearly all maxed drone skills. i was just wondering, if i started playing again, im still about 2 months away from a thanatos. i was wondering if the same ships i still had, the snake and ishtar were still good ships to fly for 2 months. thank you.

you could own one in your corporation but an Alpha can not build and deploy a citadel alone. you need the anchoring and outpost construction skills for that.

Sleepydog There was a huge exploit where people used these to rat belts and camp gates. So they moved them to a distance to avoid that.

+Max Söderquist i have no taxes but you can't manufacture or research in citadels, that's coming after the summer. The yield is the same as a pos so a bit better than npc i think.
