hi, can you show me how to set for using the tank without the pump, i just bought and started it almost 2 hrs but i checked the tank with no water in there. i don't know i set it wrong or not.

Hi. I have the DD45P dehumidifier. The unit is about 11 -12 years old. The display does not light up... When I turn it on the it beeps and the fan starts. Without the display i have no idea what the settings are. Is the a quick fix or should I trash it. It is 12 years old. Thanks. Steve
