De Longhi DEDICA ARTE Quick Start up guide this video is intended for the first time user of the espresso machine
He will go over how to steam milk in a coffee pot that is sold separately from the package. We use a thermometer that is specifically designed for steamed milk and has a temperature of 160° as the ideal number
We will go over how to put espresso beans, and what thickness. The espresso Hass to be for it to be the most optimal for quality espresso.

1. Use a grinder to get a proper grain size. 2. Pop in the portafilter BEFORE you put coffee into it and press it 3. There's no need to twist the tamper when pressing 4. Use a timer when pulling your shot - i find 18 sec is max 5. This is not how to make microfoam. You can put the wand inside to warm the milk for maybe 10-20 seconds but then put the tip just above the surface so that it makes the classic "tsk tsk tsk" sound. Why people decide to make videos without actually knowing what they're doing is beyond me.

Not good milk texturising. Give a tap or two to rid milk of bubbles....bubbles are bad!!...then swirl milk & pour. Also why was the basket not already in portafilter?

I was going to comment on it too if I didn’t find your correction first. ‘Expresso’ is a pet peeve of mine, alongside people using ‘pacific’ instead of specific, ‘brought’ instead of bought and ‘should of’ instead of should have. It isn’t difficult to check, especially with the instant access to online dictionaries and materials.

SOrry dude but this is the worst espresso prep I've ever seen. You need to watch a few videos on how to use it to get best results. Here are a few pointers: insert the basket first in the porta filter THEN add the coffee, temp it with more pressure.
