Thank you very much for making this video and including the o-ring size so that I could check my stock and have confidence before disassembling. For info the two black o-rings as fitted are slightly smaller than than the red one at the rear, I make it 13x0.25 as you said for the red one, and 12x0.25 for the two front black ones but given the amount of stretch on the diagonal one I'm sure fitting all 13s would be fine as you showed. I tried and tried to push the two plastic tangs through the cyclinder but mine were too well 'lipped' and I had to resort to levering them inwards with 2 knives. Just like you warned, I ended up breaking one of two. But it all still works when reassembled. Just want to re-emphasise your warning about breaking those clips. Thank you again, really, really helpful video.

Great video, hopefully will solve the dripping steam wand. The knob also broke off today, I think because the valve seal rings are dry and need replacing

Thank you, very useful. Water leak stopped but I broke the clips as I wasn’t able to push them through the barrel. Everything is working fine though. Do you think it can cause any problems?

Hello, how are you ? Fine? Please, the function of the electrovalve is to open or close, if it has On, let it pass, if it doesn't have ON, block it. but this one seems to have a drainage tube in its body. I have ecam 610, do you know? And RÉSISTANCE DE VAPORISATION at its entrance there is a tube that has a leak because it seems to gain a lot of pressure. I already changed the oring, I already cleaned the RÉSISTANCE DE VAPORISATION inside, but still problem with leakage….. I'm already without ideas…..

Mine is worse. Water comes out from the steam wand while coffee shot is pouring. Any suggestions, help is much appreciated. My coffee machine is delonghi Dedica 680.

You can replace the steamer wand, it's a replacable part

Hi dear. I see that you are expert in magnifica. I have 2 promlen and need advice pleassssse. It comes so much air from steamer. And when i choose 2 cups it give different quantity of coffee 😢. Can you give me solutions please 🙏

My magnifica, steam is weak, seems strong but when froths it splatters and just not strong froth anymore, I have hard water and I descaled, don’t know hat else to do

Steve, it is probably leaking some pressure away. I have 2 of these machines one is fine the other has had weak frother (and now makes boiling/leaking noises intermittently when in steam mode but frother not opened). I found that cleaning and silicon greasing the 3 pipe connections to the diffuser assembly cured the weak frother issue. Still trying to solve the other problem though 🙂

I love my machine but it’s in need of a service, the main issue is that the steamer stops after a few seconds, not sure what the issue is. This machine has served me well for about 7 years and would love to give it a service rather than throw it out

Buying a new valve cost £17 from Buyspares Buying 40 seals cost £45...but you do not know if they fit... Buying the new valve is more cost effective.
