Thanks for the video. We are about to pick one of these up today for my daughter as Christmas gift. We are new to these types of machines and have been debating between an actual machine like this or Moka pot. I think for a beginner and the price point, this seems like a decent machine to start with. Thanks again for sharing!

How’d it go? Does she like it?
@Schwidawg Жыл бұрын
@@heyb6268 She, and I must include myself, really like it. I think the only issue she has is that she can not make Latte Art. I know that is superficial but it is one of the things she wanted to do as well. I think the froth wand crates too much micro foam to form the latte art. Over, it’s a great machine that makes gear drinks.

So funny because I was deciding between an espresso maker and a moka pot. I got an "open box" new Stilosa for $50 on E-bay. It produces a PERFECT brew and PERFECT crema. Long ago, I had a high-end machine that had its own water connection. The high-end machines often take forever to heat up and are just not practical for a couple espressos per day. And... the Stilosa makes a better, more consistent cup every time. If/when it burns out, I would probably buy another or maybe upgrade to the ecf-3420.

I’m doing the first use cleaning process but the water doesn’t come off. Of course I pushed the water tank all the way down, and the tank is full and I checked a hundred times nothing is obstructing the way. I’m out of ideas. It’s weird because the green led “ready” is on as soon as I plug the machine and I switch the selector to on or coffee

Mine is not pulling like this AT ALL with the pressurized baskets. It's pretty much just pouring dirty water and when I take out the portafilter, there is just water sitting on top of it. But I'm not tamping anymore than you are so not sure that it's that. Idk I'm used to my Breville Barista Express that has the pressure gauge & all. Wondering if I should just purchase a new portafilter and tamp for this new machine... 🫠
@Kilo101811 ай бұрын
Ours is doing the same thing :/ I can only pull a shot using ground coffee but if I use expresso ground coffee then the shot doesn’t pull and the water builds up on top of coffee grounds. It’s like the holes are too small for the water to come through when the coffee is so fine. Have you found a fix?!

I don’t think you are supposed to ruin your coffee till you mug got full. It’s one ounce for a single shot and two ounce for a double.

The espresso would’ve tasted better if you wouldn’t have pulled the shot for so long. You don’t need to fill the cup all the way/the espresso shouldn’t be coming out white. Best of luck!

Late in answering lol! The pressurized portafilter is part of the problem. Best advice is set the knob to steam first. When ready light goes on turn knob to coffee and pull your shot. The minute you see the foam or crema start to get light or blonde stop pulling your shot. The 2 shot filter is smaller than norm 51 mm

yeah i faced with the same problem and still don't know how to turn off the machine by itself without turning it off myself... it uses up all the water i put in so i have to add water little by little each time, and it's so annoying.
