I remember watching this episode when it aired. Almost 3 years to the day later in 2009 I picked up my DeLorean. Here I am almost 12 years later, still living the dream and loving it!!

I vividly remember seeing a DeLorean in 1982 in a McDonald's parking lot in Pittsburgh. That stainless steel body literally sparkled in the evening moonlight. I'll never forget that car.

I think they were purposefully cruel in their characterization of John.

How come no other car that I know of anyway has ever had a stainless steel body?

I despise the way these people compare John Delorean as "Donald Trump" Trump was a sheister that has never had a lasting success in business whatsoever. A true bum. Delorean was a tactful, classy, rebellious, business minded, customer minded individual that liked to push the limits, (lets not forget the GTO among other Pontiac innovations that are still implemented today. If you look at the earlier years of his career, he was the father, the architect of the muscle car era. He chased a dream and no matter how much money he had when he died, he left a legacy, a success overall that few people can imagine. Donald Trump of his time. GIVE THE MAN SOME CREDIT!

25 grand for a sports car with no power is so just stupid . Why market the delorean as a sports car when it has no bollocks under your right foot
@hendo3375 жыл бұрын
It was 1982, a 5L V8 Camaro only had 140hp, a 5.7L Corvette only had 200hp. Emissions regulations had left all the sports cars impotent.
