We had two killers in Washington state who murdered young teenagers. One of the killers was a nurse, the other a social worker. Took almost 30 years to catch them. You just never know who is out there.

They didn’t pull this guy’s name out of a hat. He’s probably been on law enforcement’s radar for some time and they needed more time to make a case. Unfortunately, the wheels of justice are slow. I’d be willing to bet this has already gone before a grand jury. I don’t think law enforcement or that city would risk a lawsuit from this guy.

What those precious young ladies must have went through. How brave for one of them and smart as well, to video the monster that they believed were there to harm them. The fear and thought they had before, and unimaginable horror as their lives were taken. There is also a video of the suspect standing behind a tree spying on them. Wonder why that footage wasn't shown again. That moment I believe is what caused one of the girls obviously to record him once he walked on the tracks. How was this footage retrieved from her phone? Did they find her phone? If only she would have called 911 and said she and her friend were afraid that they were being followed by a man and walking down the tracks,where they were and that they feared for their lives. And why wouldn't the suspect get rid of the phone(s) ? With all my love, thoughts, respect and prayers to the families and friends of these precious girls, who were simply enjoying their friendship together and having fun on a day off from school and hiking together. Only for that day to be destroyed along with their lives. Heartbreaking. God knows who done it and He will take care of it. This monster will pay and he will pay dearly. You deserve death, and death shall find you. 👎

I cannot imagine the pain and heartache and emptiness these parents families and friends of these beautiful young ladies taken from the world.. must feel … let’s be honest the girls had the foresight to take that video … they are the HEROS in my opinion…they were brave and intelligent in the face of evil … this world is a lesser place having lost such beautiful souls ! I’ve thought about this case and them girls everyday … my wife told me yesterday when I found out now you can relax because she knows how invested I was …. I’m glad this monster/POS was caught … I thought of nothing but them girls and my son who I lost last November in a car accident

Total BS it took this long. There was at least one person that knew he did it from the start. The next day he checked himself into a local mental facility for a month. His wife and daughter seen the video of the man on the bridge, they seen his clothes, they heard his voice, one of them had to know it was him yet did nothing. Somebody at the mental facility had to suspect it, why didn't they call the police? Why didn't the police call them to check any new patients? The fact that they moved this guy for his safety makes me sick. At least 1 to 3 people knew it was him, somebody else should also be going to jail in this case. Extremely poor investigating here. Did the police know about him from the start going into the mental facility? How come the media never released information? Most people still have no idea he checked himself in a day after the murder for 30 days, why? why isn't this being told in the media? The travesty that still remains is that those who knew he did it from the beginning are not going to jail!!

I actually knew these two when they were in diapers. I remember being friends with a cousin of one of theirs when I was in my late teens. This is something my small town will never get over, even if the murderer is legitimately found. It will haunt us all. The bridge isn't the same and its not visited as often as it used to be. What was once a place for tranquil walks is just a terrible reminder of what happened.
