Tony Liggett and Jerry Holeman are a disgrace.This case has been botched by local LE from the very start, and by so giving the town of Delphi an ever worse reputation. Im not a conspiracist but something very unhealthy is going on in that town. The prosecutions stalling of handing over important (as in possible exculpatory) material is very very suspicious.

It seems very deliberate to me; I can't help but believe that LE may have been setting up Richard Allen. There are just too many red flags here, and too many omissions and outright lies. If Allen is innocent, he's been put through a Kafka-esque hell.

I particularly find the ability to identify the Purdue professor’s name almost instantaneously when pressured to be interesting. Not to mention, the professor’s interview and Harvard professor’s consultation are seemingly in favor of what the Defense is suggesting.

So if that Franks motion hadn't been released to the public, and LE hadn't thought the Perdue professor would come forward on his own upon hearing about it, would we have ever known about what the professor said? Would LE have kept saying he couldn't be found? This seems to be proof that this entire case needs to be televised and the gag order lifted. I mean, is there literal proof that the officers lied about him, all while trying to schedule an appointment with the professor? That seems like a HUGE deal for all of us that any le would do this to anyone.

Should it not be lying on top of the ground? Also what happened to forensic and crime scene protocol? There aren’t photos of this casing being dug up, nor chain of custody documented. There’s a problem here. When a prosecutor filed charges and an individual is arrested it means trial ready. You can’t arrest someone and hold them under circumstances like this. That’s why there are Franks hearings.

Thing that stuck out to me is the prosecutor’s mentioned the college professor.. they said the college professor said that it looked nothing like a ritualistic case or Odinism.. ect.. then they couldn’t find the college professors name again or the interview notes…..BUT…. the defense found him… and the college professor said it looked like they were trying to form Runes with the sticks and could be Odin symbolism so the professor said it looked a lot like Odin ritualistic signs .. thats one lie the prosecutors lied about.. what else they lying about?? Reasonable doubt for sure!

There is a side to this not talked about. The prosecution does not have a second chair. That is unheard of. (the joke is Fran Gull is his second chair from the bench) The prosecution had never tried a murder before. The state pays his salary. Everyone else in his office is paid by the county. They have refused to give him the funds or permission to hire additional staff. Second, in most states, once an arrest is made, the case is turn over to the prosecution who takes over the case (authority) from that point on. Not in Indiana. This is very important. Tony Liggett is in charge of the case. He is in charge of the evidence. It may be that he has been hiding exculpatory evidence from the prosecution (or worse, he has not). They are reinterviewing the Odin suspects in hopes of shoring up their alibis, so they have an excuse for why they stopped investigating them in 2017.

Given that identification of the ejected round is somewhat iffy, according to a ballistics expert I read a few months ago, and that that round was the only actual evidence tying Richard Allen to the crime scene, plus all of these other potential suspects that have been brought up, I really think that the police jumped the gun by arresting Allen, but then they couldn't admit it. If he is innocent, think what a nightmare he has been through. Some people have said that Allen's mugshot looked like he had dead eyes. To me, he always looked like a deer in the headlights. Whether guilty or innocent, that would be a possible response to being arrested for m* rd* r. Can you imagine if you had been trying to be a helpful citizen and volunteered information because you'd been in the park and on the bridge, and suddenly you were arrested? I don't know, but if the police don't have more of a case against him, I'm really shocked that they arrested him. I think that they may have gotten tunnel vision. Or worse, someone may have set him up. Anyone else thinking the same? Or have arguments against this?

I've went through different stages with this case. Right now I'm not sure what to think. I'll be waiting for the trial if that ever happens. I do think there is more to this story and when all is said and done we still won't know exactly what happened.

I keep thinking about that short clip of someone that does look like Richard Allen walking on the bridge, and then followed by the "down the hill" audio. But we don't know that those words came from the guy in the video walking, but it is certainly suggestive that it is. And Allen admits that he was there. Also, that unspent cartridge supposedly being cycled through Allen's gun, is pseudoscience forensics that can be easily picked apart completely, or at the very least, made doubtful. I can't explain the cartridge being there in the first place. My point is that this case isn't cut and dried yet.
