@kellyriley-duckworth47382 ай бұрын
@@VernaCunningham-sz9uz I know, it seems that looking from the outside and in hindsight, we can’t imagine ever letting our kids out of our sight. Frankly, I am surprised I am even still alive! I remember many times as a kid - only 3rd/4th grade and running up and down the banks of the Boise River, exploring ramshackle old barns and abandoned homes that were falling down - a couple even falling over in to the river itself! I lived with my grandparents, and they loved me more than life itself, and I can tell you it’s not for lack of caring, but rather, they couldn’t in a million years imagine the horrors that could’ve happened to me and my girlfriend - nor could her parents, I’m sure. It was a more innocent time , and so many people grew up that way - away from the ‘problems’ of big cities, having faith that being raised in a small town or out in the country somehow insulates you and your family from being exposed to evil. Even today, I’m sure there are so many people that still believe this. Unfortunately, our world is proving to be full of so many unknowns. I now live in Southern California for 30+ years and have adapted I suppose. What seems common sense to many of us has just never been a reality for so many - most likely this is the case with these girls parents. I’m sure they figured they’re together - not alone - and that would be acceptable. No matter what, it’s heartbreaking for the family no matter which way you look at it.

@nallelygrisellbenitezrosar2482 ай бұрын
I don't know if he did it or not, but there is absolutely no proof he committed these crimes, no DNA evidence, not one witness has said while testifying that the man sitting on the defense table is who they "saw" that day...nothing. The only thing they "have" is a confession that could have very easily been coerced out of him, the man who had not been found guilty yet and should be treated as innocent until proven otherwise, was placed in solitary for over a year, lost so much weight he doesn't even look like him and they want the public to believe he confessed to anything willingly?? yeah right. So so so sorry for these girls and their family, but if I was a jury, I would not convict him with the evidence presented so far.

If you take away the noise of what supposedly did happen right now their is no case. The information inside the courtroom is public information. With what prosecutors have produced can easily be sold as circumstantial which won’t cut the mustard. He reportedly confessed. If that was the case he would have pled guilty and there would be no trial. No murder weapon was found to my knowledge. I’ve sat on several jury’s in my life . With the evidence presented at this point they can’t convict this guy. Beyond a reasonable doubt is a big mountain to climb for a conviction at this point.
