Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge! I have one delphinium plant that I absolutely love and I wanted to have more of it… I was really scared but did what you said other than you probably would have told me to split it even further but I split it into three about five days ago now and they are all thriving and I’m so excited!

Thank you so much for posting this! I'm a delphinium lover and cant learn enough about them, I was so curious about how to propagate them! Also, your garden is amazing!

Thank you for your video, I love how you talk about your garden. I'm not quite sure if you meant it this way, but it's Sunday here and so thinking of God and the way you talk about these plants you sound just like I imagine God would talk about us. Hope that doesn't sound to silly, but crazy how that works :) Thank you, may have rethink the delphiniums I just bought from the store! Great info, I'll check out more of your in depth videos :)

I’d like to think I’m God Jessica.....sadly i’m just a podgy, irreverent, nurseryman who knows little about anything other than plants, and understands even less. Plants have always been a refuge, human nature is, for me, quite depressing, and the way as a species we are destroying our planet makes me sad and annoyed. I hope, if you have faith it brings you great comfort as it should. While I dislike religion, perversely I am quite envious of people with faith.....that’s such an absurd contradiction and only proves i’m best suited to sticking to what I know...plants.

Delphiniums are my absolute favourite perennial. I tried propagating Delphiniums following your video tutorial and non of them took. I am sad not to have been successful and wonder what mistake I must have made.

Hi this is the first time im trying to grow Delphinum from seeds. Very few of the seeds have germinated for me (i put them in the fridge in a wet paper towel then when a bit of root came out i planted them in coir pellets outside in a proagator)and as soon as the seedling started showing i took off the lid. My problem is the seedlings are not growing. It is like they are frozen. Is this normal? its been a few weeks and still nothing no second set of leaves. and some just died for no reason. Please help :(

I am considering growing delphs in my front garden near the back for height. However, this would place them close to the front house window, a few feet from where my cats like to lay and enjoy the breeze that comes in that direction. I know the plant is poisonous to cats as far as ingestion, but could the airborne flowers or seeds cause problems for them? Please let me know. Otherwise, I plan to just stick with hollyhocks for height and safety.

Are you taking these crown buds off in summer? (maybe you answer this in part 2, so I look there!) Great post by the way.

Good information but not so good videoing. I would have liked to see less of the chest and neck and more of the hands and plants.
