My most favourite singer,,,,met with him at most of he's concerts. Most humble man,,,the producers didn't give him his worth.,.he's song are playing up to now 2023. That's a legacy forever ♾️💟✨🔆🌅💟😊

@@mcleo9935I met Delroy at OHare Airport in the early 90th. He was a sweet and humble guy. He gave me a autograph picture and signed it for me. The pen did not work twice. He did not give up and asked a 3rd person for a pen. I cherish that autograph, still have it. A friend took a picture of me and Delroy sitting on a bench. I still have it to. He told me to sit on the other side because he said he did not see well on one eye.

Delroy was a white rum drinker because of stress in the music business even when he had a big number one hit called Dancing Mood and Sir Coxsone didn't pay him no Royalties and Delroy said he had to hold his corner 1960's. In 1985 I was invited at East Street Studio and that's where I first met Delroy Wilson for the first time to do some record an Album for Delroy Wilson for Bunny Lee and Phil Pratt... Rest In Peace Delroy.. Gone But Not Forgotten..🎤🎶🎵🖤💚💛

IMO, Jamaica's first child star and as soulful a vocalist reggae ever had died of Alcoholism and a broken heart, from being largely forgotten by the 1990s. One of my all time favorite vocalists, R.I.P.

HIS SPIRIT AND HIS SONG *** BETTER MUST COME *** ENTERED MY LIFE NEARLY TWO DECADES AGO. I HAD NEVER HEARD OF HIM. HE GAVE ME THAT BEAUTIFUL MUSICAL MESSAGE WHICH TOUCHED ME GREATLY. I KEPT SINGING THE SONG*** BETTER MUST COME *** JUST LIKE HIM. I REMEMBERED HIS VOICE EXACTLY AND DID A RESEARCH ON THOSE THREE WORDS. I DISCOVERED THAT THE WORDS AND SOUND PERFECTLY MATCHED HIS VOICE; TO MY SURPRISE IT WAS HE WHO FOUND ME THROUGH MY DREAMS TO DELIVER ME A MESSAGE. ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️✨🏆✨🏆✨🏆✨♥️♥️♥️♥️

….. Delroy Wilson was a major ska rock steady reggae artist…. He was up there with John Holt Slim Smith Leroy Sibbles Alton Ellis Ken Boothe ….especially in the UK…..like most reggae artists in the 1960/70s…. he was ripped off by mostly Coxsone Dodd and Bunny Lee…. Dennis Brwn said he was mostly influenced by Delroy Wilson style of singing…..

It wasn't at school he lost one of his eyes. it was outside his home in trench town. You need to do proper researching.

Maybe you are right. But according to the information from my source, it happened at school.

Jamaican chapter, just to correct you on a few inaccurate details on Delroy wilson . The picture of the woman you showed beside Delroy wilson is not his wife Cecilia Wilson.thats his youngest sons mother, Sally. Delroy Wilson had four children. Junior Wilson,Pauline Wilson, Shana Wilson, and Karl Wilson. You need to get the facts before you post. It's good that you're informing people about his grave but do your research before posting inaccurate information.
