That's 2 Bayo players doing a gauntlet in successive tournaments. Lima did 14+ hrs at Coinbox IRL going through LCQ and got 3rd after multiple game 5s. TamaP fought through losers and got to grands reset game 5 last stock at Delta.

So this tournament makes it to where Tama is 2-0 on Acola, 1-1 on Miya, 1-0 on Shuton (if they haven't played anywhere else), and 1-0 on Asimo (if they haven't played anywhere else)

1-1 on Asimo. Asimo send TamaPDaifuku to the losers bracket at this event, but Tama won the runback. Also 1-0 on Tea, TamaPDaifuku beat Tea at Kagaribi 10.

TamaPDaiFu is definitely the best Bayo in the world. Beating Asimo, Yaura, and 3-0 Miya in first set of grand final, pushed Miya to game 5 last stock in set 2 is amazing, I don't even remember when was the last time Miya got 3-0. And it is obvious given how Miya vs bloom and Lima went

It’s the 27th season right now, so there’s been many 1st places as of already (including acola and miya). Getting a high rating has no effect on the next season (only affects sub seasons), so everyone has to start playing from scratch! By the first comment, I’m going to assume that tama p got #1 rating last season. I hope this helps!

Miya is carried lol dont even give him credit all he did was spam up b dair on game and watch and ledge trap with neutral b and dash attack against a recovery that doesnt snap, and then spam up tilt into braindead combos that cant be di'd and up smash randomly with that broken scoop hitbox and priority, hell he even missed minecart up smash and he spammed it again and it worked because steve just carries players

tama p was coming from the losers bracket. since the tournament is double elimination, tama p losing the reset means he lost twice, vs miya who was on the winners side of bracket only losing once

12:55 It angers me how little American/English commentators don't know about Bayonetta. I haven't watched a single set with Bayonetta with good commentary. They even give out straight up false information like here. What Tama P did here was a witch strike, which cannot be DI'd. The only reason this combo didn't kill was either Tama not wavebouncing the second wtw or another form of misinput. Not only that but I'm pretty sure it was this exact set of commentators on either Tama vs Shuton or Tama vs Asimo where they called wtw "upward abk". I just wish that Bayo commentary didn't go down to commentators not knowing what they're talking about, incorrectly telling Bayo lore/moves and straight up blatant disrespect to the character. It makes it so hard and boring to watch.

@_OW i don't think steve is that hard for bayo, most top players consider this matchup an even one, i think the same. however some of them like lima consider the game and watch matchup an even too, but it think that one is a -1 for her, and it's just because steve doesn't have super good out of shield options against her and can be trapped on combos , while game and watch just with his insanely fast up B is enough to interrupt bayo
