That truck was an airport operations vehicle. They were most likely doing a runway inspection for F.O.D. or wildlife on the runway. Shortly after the airport operations truck exited the runway at intersection hotel 12 where the flight was holding at , aircraft departures resumed shortly thereafter. Nothing too much out of the ordinary for the truck to go on the runway with A.T.C. permission for an inspection

That truck was an S.L.C. air ops truck, they usually go onto the runway to look for and pick up any f.o.d. and chase any bird that is on the runway

I am flying from Utah to Detroit, I'm scared bout Boeing's 737 anyone that has 0000 at the end of it. The overseer keeps getting complaints, an engine fell out...oh it's a wing, pilots know how to get through storms, no electrical engines etc np.
