I guess Delta and American Airlines will use the A321 neo or the A 321 XLR for flights from the US to Mallorca, Spain (like United Airlines does it - they replace their B 757 with the A 321 XLR for that route).

Delta only has one plan with the A321neo: replace the rapidly aging 757-200 fleet. In fact, newer-delivery A321-200's are already performing this role for US domestic routes.
