I think the mean reason is the extraction mode. It's way too complicated unlike dmz which is simple. And that's the problem.

My amputee friend got banned for using ReWASD so he could play. (Uses his nub on the joystick to move his character and aims with his right hand) this game desperately needs controller support so he can actually play it with me again. ReWASD did work but they choked up on the anticheat thanks to cheaters and his program got flagged. He has appealed the ban, with proof.

Are you playing with Steam? You could use Steam Input instead of reWASD to avoid spooking the anticheat.

Steam input is a vetter option. ReWASD is known to be used by cheaters in other games.

@ I have a scuf envision pro controller. I can keybind everything to K&M, you can also set up any controller through steam controller settings to K&M. But also to make it work you need to completely close game and steam. Then open task manager and end task on steam. Then reopen steam as administrator and then open game. Controller should work

@@travislight3989 What? Key bindings are easily accesible and you even have a main and secondary button for every decision. Options -> Controls -> Key bindings

@@sinnombre__ the chat key is bound to enter. I use the num pad since im a lefty gamer and kp_enter is my grenade key in every other game. You cant unbind it plus the num lock key once pressed will cause all the other keys to stop working until pressed again. 35+ year old Quake allows me to bind whatever and play no problem.

BF lost 90% of its playerbase and out of that 90%, at least 50% are forever decided on not playing any new BF game after the love letter that was BF2042. Plus, this is a free game. So it will never compete with BF as its on a different league.
