Kyle is an absolute America BadAss, shortly after retiring, about 45 days, he did an interview on the Shawn Ryan Show, you could see him struggling to get some of the stories out, the Army did a very bad job with transitioning these warriors back into civilian life, you can see in his face and eyes that he was still there in the war 1/2 the time, he had barely started to decompress, it made me angry to see his struggle knowing the Army pretty much just adios and sent him out the door, the things we asked these operators to do, and see, and put their families not first but second or third in many instances, we spend millions of dollars training these guys to be absolute killing machines, and work them nearly to death with having them do multiple mission sets a night, on minimal sleep and food, the mission tempo was absurd when they rotated into country, be it Afghan, Iraq, Syria, multiple African countries, and risk their lives over and over and over. During his interview you can see him struggle not sure how much he could say while still trying to protect OpSec, what’s still classified or not, another great Shawn Ryan video if you want to watch is with ex Delta Operator John “Shrek” McFee aka: The Sheriff of Baghdad, and several other operators, on the other side of operators is one from Navy Seal DevGru DJ Shipley, watch em if you can, the stories these guys have are just incredible.
