The reason this war is bogged down is Russia, who supposedly is the 2nd best army in the world failed to achieve air superiority. @vladm59202 ай бұрын
@@LanNguyen-vd4ztYup, this is the perfect example of “taking kindness as a weakness”. Have you compared the statistics? According to the UN 12k civilians have died in Ukraine so far, do you know how many died in Iraq? Over 400k civilians and that’s a modest number. Now compare the military losses, over half a million soldiers died in Ukraine thus far, and on some days of the conflict Russia spent over 60k artillery shells A DAY. That’s how much the U.S. used throughout the entire Iraq conflict, and you know how many American soldiers died in Iraq? Only 4550.. you know why they have this “superiority”? Because they can kill and destroy everything in their way with no impunity and no consequences, not because their military is superior. They bombed the hell out of Baghdad in the first weeks of the conflict before entering with their soldiers on the ground, what a brave way to do it.. Ukrainian cities on the other hand have electricity, water, internet.. most things still function as normal. Do you think Russia can’t do to Kiev what Americans did to Baghdad?

interesting note Tolkien was a soldier in ww1 and made the first notes on his world from the those trenches, one of his school comrades urged Tolkien to keep writing in letters to Tolkien from the trenches and died a few months later.

Trust me people, this war is one of the dirtiest, all of its on bodycam, the battlefields are horrid, lots of tall grass bushes and trenches making visibility and mobility worse

The realisation that most young people are not interested in fighting for their Ukraine homeland also reflects a survey carried out of Australian young adults who also responded that they would not fight for Australia if it was invaded. Sad state of affairs.
@eriklarsson31882 ай бұрын
Why would young Australian men fight for Australia? Anymore any European man (save for Eastern European countries) would fight for his respective country? I _know_ the answer to that question. Not rocket science is it. When your own government is the enemy the result is that no man wants to fight for, kill, get maimed and get killed for a country that is no longer his. Now I am of course talking to fellow white men who are NATIVE to their respective countries, which means Europe.
@rustykilt2 ай бұрын
@@eriklarsson3188 I get where you are coming from, but i am talking about invasion of Australia. Do you not think if we faced invasion that ALL Australians should not do their utmost to defend this Country?. I have served, but i would not risk my life to defend our Politicians, but would do so to protect my family.

@@eriklarsson3188i agree. In my city alone (adelaide) housing is not affordable in any capacity. A house on my neighborhood sold for 200k 5 years ago, and sold recently for 800k. They did some repairs but no more than what is required. This will only get worse. I say exactly, why would i fight for a country that has not and will not fight fof me.

I think that Australia is logistically difficult to invade then Japan would help you along with America
