D&D Build #25: The Maelstrom Walker (2024 Sea Druid)

Love the build. A metal melee sea druid was my first brew under the new rules. Made essentially the same build with just a few tweaks. Species I actually went Earth Genasi (assuming MMoM is allowed). Just because of the “ignore difficult terrain,” effect paired well with the Maelstrom spell which was the primary build around. Also size small which meant I could use my goat familiar as an easy mount. STR 14 to start but boosting at Druid 8 (level 9) with the Charger feat. Prolly better your way, maxing Wis early and having best armor right away, but oh well. One thing I noticed you didn’t mention… Conjure Animals gets you your own Sharknado. lol

@@MatthewBlachut-nr9bg I’m not a huge fan of the new conjure animals spell, given it does no damage on save. That said, it is a decent option for AoE sustained damage before you get 4th level spells.
