The way things in her house are so normal and the dialogue especially make this as sad as it is scary. The fact that Berdly's terrifying ghost appears before her only to _apologize_ to her is so sad-that he wasn't able to save her from what she was forced into, that he wasn't strong enough to withstand what she was forced to do. And then the Dark Fountain screams to life-uncaring, unaware, raw power. I had to rewind, that part hit so hard. I love the little lore details being included, like from the holidaygirl website: the horror media like she's into, Dragon Blazers II, Dess's guitar, non-toxic chalk, her acquisition of pipis, and the old dusty PS1. Her keeping a rack of her shed antlers like a growth chart. The plastic softballs tying back to Dess's team jacket on the coat rack. The security cam which could be there for several reasons (don't let the other daughter disappear, control freak mayor mama, etc.) The algebra POV scene makes me think of PilotRedSun, and the drawings that flash through her mind also are so good. Even the fact that Noelle looks so silly ironically adds to the atmosphere, because that stupid face makes such realistic expressions. I also like the glimpse at Berdly's unnatural afterlife, and all the implications that, just like Jacob Marley, his time with Noelle is short. (35% Gone.) Likewise, his apparition is sad, frightening, ephemeral, and a warning to beware. I love that when he first appears, he's chirping and turning his head like a real bird, like he hasn't fully realized he's there with her, yet. And that when he flashes to a Goner color palette, all of the cracks and frost disappear. The text boxes also show a handwritten glimpse into whatever Berdly suffered at the time his body is flashing back to. And that's all without mentioning the sound design (especially the reverberant final note when the beak opens, followed by nothing but the trilling of the fledgling). The dread in the same, repeating 4-bar figure also gains sadness once slowed down. This is so good. It's so good. I could go on gushing but this is in my favorites

The whole Snowgrave path reminded me heavily of Chiaki Konaka's writing (Lain, Digimon Tamers..) The extreme isolation and helplessness Noelle finds herself in..the bleeding between two worlds (one being based on technology) and her getting irreversibly..altered by her experiences. Losing autonomy..just so many good dark themes.. I really hope the next chapters continue to explore this stuff. I mean - I want a fun adventure with quirky side characters too..but it's the dark stuff toby fox does in his games that LINGERS with me most

I love how he mentioned that it burned because I love how freezer burned Berdly looks here! He does not have icicles hanging from his beak or anything indicative of freezing to death, instead he looks shriveled and breaking apart as someone who was flashed freezed truly would! There is incredible attention to detail on this piece! I also loved how the images in the static void and the ones that flash in Noelle's mind are of a charcoal-like texture for, it makes them stand out and look grainier. :D

Time to hyper-analyse this masterpiece: 0:20 The jacket on the wall has the letter 'D' stiched on the side for Dess (the same can be seen on Noelle's bag). The wallpaper has the four pointed determination star (not sure if intentional ). There is a doorbell on the inside of the house(????). The coat hanger looks like Noelle's antlers (not important, but still wanted to mention it). 0:23 Noelle is eating IceE pizza, at 0:27 he blinks(doesnt she have a fear of the dude? ). The fridge has a note to close the door (it is confirmed that noelle has a habit of leaving the door, open to feel the cold ). The note is signed by M (most likely mom, or mayor). The fridge has a large block of cheese and a cartoon-esque, mouse hole(cause of her fear of mice? ). The most important thing is the fact that there is a surveillance camera monitoring her moves (which proves the fact that her mom is a helicopter parent, and why she seems to be afraid of her). The chair looks cool. 0:27 NUBERT!!!!! (everyone loves him). The two modes of the shower are Hochi mama(either spamton or the spam she would receive ) and so cold(snowgrave dialogue). Noelle really loves the cold as she is showering on the coldest setting. 0:32 The 'A' is covering 'E' in meth (she definitely lools like she's on it). The entire first page seems to be one equation (you know, average algebra). The text book has burger pant for M̶E̶T̶H̶ Math in action. The page numbers are 88 and 89(don't know if its significant ). The snow globe from Berdly says "from your favorise algebro" (yes, it says favorise). His bicep has pi on it (typical). Her pen has a gaster-snow man on it(GuYs, GaStEr ReFeReNcE gsiikrZakoa). There's an egg with a dog face on it (reminds me of egg dog ). The first page is relatively more tame, however the next page is very, very interesting. This page obviously shows the more traumatizing side of her journey. Images of queen(lmao), spamton, Susie, and kris (proceed), flash in front of her, and lastly what berdly sees before being frozen. She then breaks her pen and her fingers also seem to be mauled(thorn ring? ) . 0:39 The wreath above looks alot like omega flowey's vines? The poster has a typical, 90's movie horror with the amalgamates (reference to attack of the blob). You can't just post a masterpiece without ample warning. This is incredibly well done, the style really pops out at you, and the backgrounds are really detailed even if we hardly spend time looking at them. And dude, that haunting buildup of police sirens and the bursting of a dark fountain as Noelle is trapped in her hallucinations... Even something so simple yet impactful as Noelle biting into her lip and leaving bloody marks behind. It is awesome.

The same insecurities that he had back then and up until now is bearing down on him in the worst possible way he could imagine. What the frick did I just watch. It was incredibly well made but I feel like I just watched a short lived fever dream based on what would happen if Meatcanyon had a cross over with Deltarune and yet even that does not fully explain what I just saw... Well anyway, seriously impressive work for what I assume is just one person. I love that despite its honestly pretty plain actions and visuals for a dark route in a story, the snowgrave route had such a weird tone to it that just felt so off to so many that whenever someone makes fan work of it the directions they go are almost always sooo different from one another. I'm still surprised at the kind of community Toby Fox built. Even after 3 years, it is clear that according to the chapter 2 of Deltarune, animations are released, arts are being drawn, fan games are being made - our community is still alive and will be for a long time. I hope we don't have long left before the release of chapters 3 and 4 in 2025 (and imagine what will happen in the community then!) This was absolutely amazing to watch and I love all the details added to the house and everything else! Since naming them all would take a while I'll just quickly mention a few of my favorites being the Dess sweater 0:19 (there's a D on the arm while there's an N on Noelle's bag), the camera which I'm guessing is related to Mrs. Holiday 0:24, the non-toxic chalk and note for Susie at 0:48, the lights puzzle from the palace at 0:51, all of Noelle's shedded antlers and the fact that you can't see Berdly in the mirror 1:04, the Photoshop Flowey face that appears very briefly 1:25, the fact that The Dark Fountain is exploding out of The Dreemurr house 1:59, and of course the way you draw Noelle was very fun and interesting to see! On a final note I didn't realize until now (a few hours after watching this video) that you made the "Lost Doug Episode" animation video so after realizing that and seeing your works again I'll be subscribing and happily sticking around to see what else you do!! :D P.S. I did infact read the description.

Man, I think it's actually more disturbing for Berdly to ask *Noelle* for forgiveness. I think because it highlights that Noelle is just as trapped as Kris. At least if it was *her* fault, then she could end the nightmare and someday make amends for what she's done. But even though it's her hands doing these things, the choices are out of her hands and it's only going to get worse.

I LOVE EVERY DETAIL, SO I MUST POINT OUT EVERY DETAIL 0:11 obviously the sound effect used it the snowgrave sound effect and the name frozen chicken is refering to the check text when you check frozen berdly 0:18 the coat hanger looks like reindeer horns and has a jersey on it that refers to the sport she plays with jockington (i forgot what it was though-) 0:23 the fridge is open. Inside is a note from "M"(probably mom) that tells her to close the door, meaning that Noelle has a habit of keeping the fridge door open as she tends to do in the supermarket. Also theres a mouse hole with cheese, refering to the mouse save points from undertale. 0:27 around here the camera turns. The camera is probably something that mayor holiday uses to make sure noelle is safe at all times. Also the ice-e winks at us, probably a reference to ice-e theory (but it also might just be a easter egg referencing how creepy ice-e is.) 0:28 nubert in the vent, and the hot setting is "hocchi mama" (which is what spamton calls her). Ofc, shes taking a cold shower and her bathroom tiles are red and green. (Edit: the cold setting says "so cold" which is probably a reference to dess' dialouge in the lost code. Thanks to @gaslight-gatekeep-girlboss for pointing it out!) 0:31 shes studying from a math text book with pizzapants as an example of applications of math, or trying to anyways. She gets distracted and starts manic sketching. The delta rune, the ambulance enemy's amblance and needle, the thorn ring, the silver watch, spamton and his pipis and of course, kris in their armour, along with all the fun things like the ferris wheel, the banana (with potassiums.....short form representation? Im having a brain fart here, but ik that k stands for potassium) queen and susie. Shes using her Christmas themed pencils. On her desk theres temmie's eg and a gift from berdly that looks like the godlen statue he gifts queen. She also has a half eaten eraser that belonged to susie 0:39 here theres a poster for a horror movie that references the amalgamates from undertale and another poster for dragon blazers. She also has a pic with her sister(?) And her badge for the spelling contest. On top in a circular frame theres a picture of giftrot, the reindeer from undertale. Considering the fact that in undertale, the whole tradition of Christmas is surrounding giftrot, maybe in this world hes kind of like jesus. The head board of the bed says "bonex", idk what that's referencing, if someone could help me on this one it'd be great! (My hand hurts rn so ill stop here, maybe ill come back? Probably not) Edit: I'm back! I'm going to finish this 0:42 on her bedside table she has milk and cookies. There is a mouse hole and a mouse here too, but I think this one is a reference to the annoying mouse puzzles 0:46 she has a gaming console here, she probably used to play dragon blazers with her dad or dess, but since neither of them are here, it's caught dust 0:49 here there are balls and bats from the sport she plays with jockington, theres a box of chalk and a letter (probably a letter to confess her love) both for susie. She probably abandoned it out of fear of rejection. There is also a pipis on the floor and the box which she uses to hide from queen behind the trash can. 0:51 this windchime is made up of many parts, the focal point being the angel doll that's faceless. We know that dess and noelle used to make these dolls from the hospital conversations with rudy. In the center is a heart, representing the players soul and the other pieces of the windchime are references the the shadow puzzles in queens mansion representing the other characters. The boot, (maybe dess bc the onky colour associated with her thus far is her orange guitar) is chipped and there is an empty string where the blue bird should be. Also the pole that holds up the curtains is a candy cane 0:56 the particles here could either be the snow from the snowgrave attack or dust, as when a monster dies they turn to dust. Neat parallel! 1:01 i don't know about the eye under the stocking, but we can clearly see dess' guitar, with a few broken strings as it's been many years since her disappearance. As for the horns, I have a theory. Deers shed their horns as they grow, so maybe like how we track our children's growth by marking their height, maybe reindeers track their children's growth by displaying their shed horns. 1:05 one of the stocking briefly turn into a foot for this one shot. Also from he reflection on the TV screen, you can tell that Noelle is hallucinating. 1:14 the headboard has different stickers here, one for mettaton and one for mad mew mew. These are probably merch as mettaton is a celebrity and mad mew mew is a popular anime in this world. However they're probably really old as their starting to chip off and fade. Also the dragon blazers poster says "©️ 1995 RECTANGL" 1:22 two others had already mentioned this but the error message has text relating to the snowgrave (what you think I'm going to type the whole thing out? You're giving me a real workout) and after the error message theres an after image of omega flowey. The mouse is a mouse enemy and the mouse pad is a forggit. 1:32 here, a mysterious shadow figure flashes briefly, and what do we do when theres a mysterious person? That's right! We call them gaster! 1:37 somewhere here, you can see gasters face approaching berdly. 1:43 when he says "insignificant", there are flashes of young berldy and noelle in his eyes 1:52 here the amalgamates poster is melting and the dragon blazers poster says "©️ 1999999999999.....". The head board has stickers of....Donald duck and a pizza slice as well as a grey checker board pattern (idk what that means tho) 1:57 the stickers on the headboard changed again, theres one saying "I ❤ 🔵(pipis)" and another one of hots fireguy. Theres one of those Christmas circle decorations on the left (idk what they're called, boughs?) 1:59 here faintly some text starts overlapping with berdly's text box. "It's so cold...", "someone is here" and probably "hello." are from dess' dialogue in the code, "forgive me" and "it burns" aren't really referencing anything i think. 2:00 and here's kris opening the ch 3 dark world.

This is incredible! It feels like something I would’ve seen back in 2021 when the fandom was going ballistic. The slight uneasiness of the art style, the music, Berdly…this is one of the best animations I’ve ever seen based on Undertale/Deltarune. 9000/10!

The ending is even heavier when you realize that the Sirens mean they found what was left of Berdly. In the snowgrave ending, Berdly's body is implied to be stashed inside the server room of the library's Computer Lab, since Kris mentions when looking into the room that you could "Stash a body in there", regardless of which path you took, and the notes as you leave the room states that "You clean up the room before you leave", implying that in Snowgrave, in order to cover tracks, Kris shoved Berdly into the Server room, and his body broke down shortly after thanks to the heat generated by the Server.

Both of those quotations are wrong, it's also a bit unclear when something is Kris's perspective or our/the soul's perspective so it's misleading to say "Kris mentions". There's really not anything substantial that actually implies that Kris did that, it's just a fan theory. Besides, why would Kris need to do that regardless? Noone really saw them go there except for Susie and Noelle. The sirens doesn't necessarily mean that either. Remember how Toriel called the police before Kris creates the dark fountain in their house?
