Okay okay, so, from every version of each secret boss I’ve seen, here’s a list. Chapter 1 (Jevil): Long free, already has been free for a long time. Chapter 2 (Spamton): Popularity basically just ended, gone mad but not AS mad as Jevil. Chapter 3 (Mike): At the height of popularity, mad with power but uses it for half-baked good Chapter 4 (Inka): Unpopular, Wants Popularity.

to elaborate: Inka felt like a ghost, constantly being ignored or overshadowed, and subsequently went mad and became desperate for attention. thus, she's yet another foil to kris like spamton is, since they lived in the shadow of their brother asriel for quite some time

close! the line about shackles is saying that she willingly went insane and sacrificed her "freedom" if it meant she could feel loved by someone, regardless of whether or not they actually existed. ever since the table incident, she had had no friends and had been ignored by all the other darkners, leading to that decision

I think for the attack at 2:49, there should be one of those ! warnings in the middle row right before everything spins around. Otherwise, there's no way to know what's going to happen until it hits you.

Here is a note: The HP goes up every chapter by 30 + 10 every extra chapter So they should have 90 more HP then in this fan game Not trying to criticize but I get mad when things aren’t cannon

@@EchoC4 except that Susie is an exception. She goes by 10 more than the others at the end of chapter 2. So she should have 100 more HP, and the rest should have 90 more.

Are there any tool you can use with the kristal engine, or is everything coded by hand? Was the purple soul also coded by you?

because of how attack waves work, they have to be coded manually, but most other stuff is a lot of copy + paste in this video, the attacks and enemy quotes are all randomized, but since then a library has been released that'll let me easily make a more "scripted" boss battle, like the ones in the base game

the bat theme is just for her, the main dark world theme is arts & crafts. since chapter 3 looks like it'll happen overnight friday, and the church will definitely be visited on sunday, i doubt all of saturday would go by without another dark world adventure in between

well, several of the attacks i made ended up almost impossible to dodge consistently, as you may notice, so instead of fixing it like a normal person, i'll add the ability to hold and release [Z] to harness the power of Invisible Ink and briefly pass through bullets
