Headcanon ( as in most likely canon but not explicitly confirmed ) : LGBTQIA+ identities are just seen normal in the world of DELTARUNE. Why would you have to come out of the closet if you never had to hide in the closet in the first place ? That would be weird. And why would you be worried about people misgendering you ? If you correct them the first time, they won't make a big deal out of it and they'll start referring to you with your preferred pronouns. But they most likely know what your gender is anyways, everyone knows that people who wear striped shirts are genderless children.

@@itzyaboi4297 Being trans/nonbinary usually comes with a lot of emotional turmoil and conflict, so when you get misgendered it stings and reminds you of it. How badly someone reacts to it depends on how much it affects them or matters to them. Someone who was rejected and forced into the closet will likely have a stronger reaction than someone else with supportive friends and family, since it weights so much more on the former. that + the fact that gender has a huge effect on your life, regardless of if you're trans or not. it's just stronger on trans people because they're the most non conforming type out there (especially nonbinary people, since they're entirely out of the man/woman binary, and gender roles simply never accounted for their existence) (I've rewritten this comment many times so I hope it still makes sense ;-;)

Queen is literally a computer and would have actual difficulty forgetting something, so either they never cared enough to save the data of berdly’s name onto the computer, or her AI is reading the smudged hand writing and can’t tell if that’s the correct name or the own that’s saved, then mixed them together. So either she accidentally deleted the save file in her brain for berdly’s name or her AI is just bad.
