After the chapter 2 ending, the possibility of undertale characters playing a part in deltarune isn't impossible, we have 5 chapters left so who knows what Toby could actually do with Sans. I honestly think he could actually find out about this other side of Kris and what they're doing even if Kris is doing it in the dark world But, just theorizing in some ways

Okay, yeah that was pretty freaking cool, and I kinda want to try it. A couple of thoughts. Make the ending the same, but during the death cutscene, have the animation for a successful attack and kill play, to emphasize that even throughout the fight, the player had no control. Another thing is to properly implement Karmic Retribution, and force the play to heal.

Fun Fact: Since the text box and menus are different in the dark and light worlds, the light world still has the classic Undertale battle format. However, if a darkner were to come to the light world and be in one of these battles, the darkner would be in color. This is still awesome.

Love this new fight, it shows how now that sans is technically out of the reset loop his attacks are different now, out of the thousands of resets he's gone through he knows the player already and he's refined some of his attacks to throw you off. How even just one bone dog cam shows how he slightly predicted your movements. Overall the fight is amazing

As much as I think it's cool Deltarune Sans has the possibility of being as strong as Undertale Sans I don't think that's the case. They are both different Sans. Sure they kinda act similar but Deltarune Sans doesn't seem to possess the same. Would be funny if we were to actually fight Deltarune Sans is like "Kid, I feel like you're expecting me to really fight back a intense battle, but that's just not who I am, sorry to dissipoint." But trolls you before you kill him.

@Michele B. Well that depends. Player isn't confirmed to exist in Deltarune nor Undertale. But there are massive hints suggesting that Player exists in Deltarune, just don't bring this bullshit to Undertale.

@@Jpx0999 There are tips that state something that seem to be to the Player, but Player is never actually mentioned. And it would make sense if you saw it as them talking to Frisk or Chara, otherwise they're just a bonus for the game alone and don't relate to the storyline at all.

@Michele B. And for the part where he stalls out his turn indefinitely? Game specific feature. No such thing happened in the actual timeline. You can tell because in the game, although this happens, whenever you move to the Fight button, Sans teleports you back. Hints about what's really happening. What's probably happening in the storyline is Frisk attempting to hit Sans and Sans just moving them back every time they try. See? Just think a bit more and it'll make sense.
