Fun Fact: Toby wanted to use the Undertale battle system for Deltarune but didn't know how to fit in 3 party members in the old system, so he remade it entirely But then Deltatraveler comes along and shows us how it could've worked lol, I hope that Deltatraveler does use other battle systems for future sections like for Zelda and Inside Story

You can. The first thing you have to do is Challenge him with Susie and Kris, and from there the text in the box tells you pretty much everything about what command to use next (Finish with Praise once jerry starts to reconsider)
