Note: i did some tests on this, and it seems like this fight will happen IF you abort the route at any point after Kris gets the concussion.

Makes sense as Kris has already murdered at least one Cultist, causing the village to be evacuated, however aborting the route at any point renders you unable to kill Mondo Mole, as noticed by Porky.

Fun fact: You can get LV 12 even with aborting at Mondo Mole! You have to pick on Loox a bunch, though, which the person in the video clearly did not do.

I would argue this is even worse than a normal obliteration, the player commits such a massacre and leaves seen as the heroes by Ness and Paula, instead of the evil villans they fight in the normal obliteration.

And i would argue that the complete obliteration route is worse than this one, if we kill Ness and Paula, the world's doomed because of Giygas, and nobody will be able to stop him.

@@dylanzlol7293 On one side, true, on the other, we don't deserve to be seen as heroes when we slaughtered everybody in our way. Though, I guess you are right, as the end of all life is still worse than people glorifying murderers.

I think you can see this reflected on the "stats" menu at the end Kris has his head up like nothing ever happen, but Susie and Noelle both are completly guilty, Hell, Susie went back to hide her face on her hair.

It's actually VERY amazing that they Incorporated characters from Earthbound/Mother 2 and Deltarune into one game. I was BLOWN AWAY when I saw this. Though it would be fun if they included a secret run where it followed the same story as Earthbound but if Kris, Susie, Noelle and Birdley were the Protagonists of that run. But that's personally a suggestion from me

You can tell when you aborted the Obliteration Route if you hear a happy chime, the same sound as when you abort the Snowgrave Route.

Porky probably knew that Ness and paula, being "so-called heroes of so-called justice", would jump in to stop the delta warriors, and saw an opportunity to just let Kris kill the only threat to his power.

Yeah, you can. As long you don't "mess the timing" (better explained: pressing "Z" at any point while you are not close to a damaging hitbox) you can spam it as much as you want (however, you'll only get extra TP if the invulnerability is starting to wear off).

At this point in the story, Ness and Paula are still in Happy Happy Village when the Delta Warriors show up. (EarthBound Spoilers) Paula only calls for Jeff when her and Ness travel to Threed, get ambushed, and locked in a room underground. She uses her telepathy to call for Jeff, and he comes to rescue them. Meanwhile Poo is encountered much later in the game, in the desert region.
