My parents once saw Michael Jackson in Milan... They were in kind of a quiet but very upscale shopping street. With almost no one there, suddenly they hear a sound. Like a storm, thousands of feet and people screaming. The kind of sound you'd hear in a Godzilla movie when everyone's running away from the monster. And then they see this MASS of people with this little guy sprinting in front of them. He runs past them and darts into a store. In a few moments it went from a quiet street to a busy shopping street on Black Friday or Christmas. This was in the middle of the 80s at THE height of his fame. My parents said they never saw a mass of people run that fast together. I can't imagine having to protect someone from a crowd like that 😵💫. Respect to this guy for taking on that job!

What I only wonder is in their stories they never spoke about children who were with him. Although it is confirmed by Michael and others that he had these sleepovers and stuff.
@Aquarius-vt9iz Жыл бұрын
@@Tropical_Rain7 because Michael's life was more than being around children, and that's what you can hear. MJ also was frequently not at Neverland. He was also hanging out with normal adults, his friends. He was inviting children (boys and girls) & families, carers, kept his house open. These kids weren’t alone with Michael their parents, mothers or carers were always there. Some of the families used it against him. The main point is public have been manipulated by the media narrative for over 30 years, pulling 4-5 years of MJ's life to create a story of his life. There is so much more that does not require talking about children and is interesting, inspiring.
@Tropical_Rain7 Жыл бұрын
@@Aquarius-vt9iz I am like I said a fan and I have informed myself and I don't believe the allegations. I just wondered when they explicitly talk about the topic why the bodyguard invalidated the allegations but at the same he didn't mention that he even were around when children were there.

Hey Red, I’ve been binge-watching your interviews and just had to drop in here and make sure you were aware that you’re truly excellent at doing this. Your questions and demeanour and enthusiasm is great. Watching you with your guests it’s clear you have an incredible natural talent. I think you’re heading in a great direction and I also wanted to give you a gentle warning after seeing where others before you have gone wrong. I used to be a fan of the MJ Cast but like many others I soured on them, this all comes down to a couple important issues; their using of the Twitter/X MJ account to argue personal opinions regarding things unrelated to MJ which are divisive (such as recently blocking long time MJ fans, including some who donated to Taj’s Docu-series, who disagreed with their stance on media treatment of Russell Brand) and most of all getting involved with politics. Mostly this comes down to publicly taking sides and trying to guess what Michael would’ve thought about a particular current political subject etc, which annoys people and brings in negativity. People often go to MJ accounts to escape the current day dramas so that it’s really frustrating for people when it’s there as well. Because Michael has fans across the world and across political parties and demographics of all kinds, my advice would be to just not get involved with politics, it’s transient and only alienates fans. How you’re doing things here is perfect and I think you’re probably the number one MJ interviewer at this point. Just wanted to give you a heads up and send some encouragement. You’re doing great and it will only get better. Congratulations on the super results and good luck.

Thank you for sharing, awesome interview. The one doing the interview is awesome and very professional at this. It’s so refreshing to hear someone stand beside Michael, supporting him, and telling about his time with him. Including all that Michael endured through those harsh years of accusations, it really took its toll upon him and his health. You can see that from many of the pictures of his trial as it unfolded. Heartbreaking…..to see MJ’s career fall and under scrutiny with those determine to undermine his credibility and integrity with lies and false accusations. Shameful with such betrayal and behaviors from people willing to destroy someone who has given up so much of their freedom to live a life of misery and despair on our behalf because of loving music and with artistic expression, as MJ did. As fans of his, we never allowed him time to rest and restore his confidence in us. It’s similar to a well which gives water, then drying out because it can’t replenish itself after being used up so much, and eventually the land around it becomes a barren desert, unable to sustain life upon the land anymore, because of lacking water resources to restore the energy and nutrients it provided and for life to flourish and thrive there. Is this what FAME does to those who have become known to their fans and followers, through the media, paparazzis, etc., thus draining the life out from under them and in turn using another’s fame to make a name for themselves? In the same manner as Elvis Presley, Michael loved music and loved his fans and audiences, but also pushed himself into performing, and as any perfectionist does, keep working until it feels right inside one’s mind, so rehearsal, rehearsal until there is nothing left to give back…except exhaustion, this I noticed in his last performances. He wasn’t as agile as he once was. He was slowing down, thus the THIS IS IT tour he was planning. He was 50 years old and starting to feel it more, especially the pain he was in. It showed on his face and deeper in his eyes. I definitely can relate to this one..😢. Basically, around this point in time…of 45-50 years, it’s also called the ‘midlife crisis’ event, thus it’s pushing oneself beyond what he originally thought he could achieve, ignoring his own needs of rest and inner self awareness, going beyond his own normal expectations of what he once could do. I did the same….😢 Sorry for the analysis, but MJ was truly a unique singer/artist, a rare talent, one of those people who went beyond his own needs to bring a bit of happiness to others even though he may have been hurting himself. But isn’t this the reason we all live together on a planet we call it our home, giving the dignity and respect that all life deserves, as equals….regardless of what skin color or species it is, and by showing compassion, kindness and in helping others whenever we can? This is our true purpose in life and why all life lives together upon this planet….. Earth, our only home. 🖖there is no other…..

This is absolutely unbelievable to me. I've been a MJ fan on and off since I was a young kid in the early 90's. My fandom of course went up and down, but the day he died I will never, ever forget, and it also sparked my interest again. I have watched so many videos about MJ on here since KZbin first became a website, and I have never seen such informative, unbiased, in-depth, honest interviews about MJ. And for the life of me I now wonder why a popstar who was arguably one of the most famous people on the planet, who the media interviewed anyone they could to get "dirt" on him, why has no one ever interviewed anyone this guy is interviewing? This young guy, with only 4,170 subscribers, interviewed, the people that spent years with MJ, that were behind the scenes, they never tried selling stories. Why does this channel not have over a million subs? These are the best interviews about MJ I have ever seen. Every time I see a thumbnail and read who it is, I can't wait to watch it. All I ever see is the same people interviewed, that spent a day with him, 30 years ago. This is awesome.

This is why I laugh when people say any singer is any generations MJ. Impossible. Its not just about a few fans crying in the audience. MJs Fandom was pandemonium. Just awe inspiring. Very scary too, to see even on tv.

Thank you Red for having Mr. Norman to speak about Michael Jackson as a person and a kid really in heart. We are longing to hear these facts, rather than junky tabloid.
