I was addicted to Heroin and also went to a Methadone clinic for 4 years. I left there in 2016 and have been clean since 2018. I need you to understand that it is 100% possible to get clean from heroin and then from the methadone. I've done it and at the time I certainly didn't think it was possible. I thought I was going to be a "Lifer" at the clinic and I was able to eventually leave there as well. If you have any questions or anything like that, we can figure out a way to communicate. If not, that's cool also and just understand again that if you truly want to get clean then you can absolutely achieve that.
@Britton_Thompson2 ай бұрын
@@SleepyAnteater-oe3yl No, I'm happy where I'm at, thank you. I've tried detoxing from it before, and it never took hold completely. I'd always eventually start using other drugs eventually. The truth is that the clinic is what best works for me. I'm able to be more productive as long as I know I get to use at least one narcotic a day still. I prefer it to be the methadone that I take each day because it doesn't provide me with any sort of 'high' anymore. I don't know. I guess it's all a mental thing with me. It’s not harder obviously to quit corn than heroin, but you have to think for a minute at an antidote level for each individual with their own addictive traits. Kids are exposed to corn as early as 10 now and something like corn is more accessible and acceptable in our society. That being said you quitting something you started as a kid and the amount of dopamine imbalance from corn can be very difficult to stop also considering the consequences of it aren’t always showing up right in your face. Men hide this addiction and are struggling with it everyday. Now I don’t know about everyone, but most kids aren’t doing hard drugs at 10 or younger. Granted there’s some odd cases out there, but you have to understand no body is normalizing heroin, but we definitely normalize corn!!

Setting aside the fact that this girl is a lunatic for this scenario 🤣🤣 she's not entirely wrong on one thing. While obviously Heroin does MUCH more damage to your physical body than porn, an argument could be made that it is harder to quit, for 2 reasons. 1. Accessibility. Hard to quit something you have no way of removing access to. 2. Frame of mind. Most people don't believe porn is a bad thing to watch, so it would be much harder for you to actually convince yourself that you SHOULD quit
