It is also Jon. He is doing a lot of work to make it run so smoothly. It is never just the adventure. You have to have someone to run it for their group. Making it run well for what the group wants to do. It seems Jon may have some experience running adventures. Of course I could be wrong.

Excellent discussion. David, If you do take the missile let me know so I can grab a nice drink and watch the fire lol Ted, what is your overall goal as a player when it comes down to the history of AV?

@Dirus-Nex Well, just as mapping a dungeon helps you find the hidden parts, knowing the history of the place can help too. If we understand the strata of construction and history of expansion, then we might, for example, know that we still haven't found The Shrine of X or the Room of Thothian Stuff. If we don't know to look for them, we won't, or we won't understand the significance when we do find it. Take the cave with the pillar of EVIL in it. We don't know a damn thing about it. We can find out the hard way, or we can find out the deets from somewhere else and approach it from a place of knowledge. The ultimate goal? Learn everything, loot everything, and retire alive.

Thanks for letting me see a little bit inside your mind Ted. Just wanted to get an idea of what you personally wanted to get out of the game. I just started AV last night with a friend just two of us playing until we can get a few more players involved but I can’t get enough.

NOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's Thursday and no Delve Detox Ep 72. I see "1 unavailable video is hidden". KZbin!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I still love every video 3d6 Down The Line does, even if it is hidden and unavailable to me. Now if they can just get the magic user some levels. Then a bunch of options will open up! I almost agree with Matt. You need to get started earlier AND play later. Matt, you don't NEED the whole group. I mean we have seen episodes of just two players knocking it out of the park. Granted, I think Ted was always one of those two players, but I have faith.

The undead really are one of the biggest question marks for me. We know a little about aliens, hoppers, Settites, etc., but I feel like we are totally in the dark as to the ghoul infestation in Arden Vul. And didn't the AV Club start the adventure with a rumor about a necromancer residing in Arden Vul, or am I misremembering?
