I am. I've been playing Somber Echoes because I was really enjoying it, but my enjoyment has dwindled exponentially over the last couple hours of play so I've written some feedback for the devs and put it aside. Gonna start on Magnolia now.

@@demajen OK, no worries, I didn't play Ender Magnolia early access version, but did watch your video... compared to Ender Lilies to me this game feels a lot more polished, visuals, effects, audio and movement all feel better, can't say about difficulty yet, but now there are options to adjust it, which is great for slow and clumsy people like me at least.

It's based on a series of games that are all nothing like this from as far as I can tell. I found a side scroller mmo type game and some sort of fighting game, but nothing like a single player action game. I enjoyed the demo and plan to pre-order the day of release for the perks but not to give them the satisfaction of a pre-sale. Though I couldn't help but laugh every time the spirit said body. It just sounded so weird.

BODDDYYYYYYY~! Yeah, I definitely want to play it as I mostly did enjoy the demo, but the loot system puts me off. Doubt I'll get the "three days advanced access" pre-purchase for an extra £5 though. Depends how slow a month March is, I guess!

@@demajen The only thing that has really confused me about the game is why wait until after the first boss to allow "easy mode" to be selected? Most people that really need it will bounce off the first boss and give up I'd think... Either way the only thing on my list for march is assassins creed and I'm not buying that in march, but I don't keep a good release list.

@@demajenFair warning and advice regarding the gameplay observed and frustrations… The publisher, more specifically NEOPLE published an MMORPG in 2005 and is a dungeon crawler side scroller with very very… bloated loot systems. I’ve confirmed in their AMA that this game is inspired by their MMO and will feature common - epic gearing…either dropped from bosses at fixed percentage rates and through crafting (pity system for those not blessed by RNG…). Regarding your frustrations with the last boss, I’ve watched a lot of streams where the mistake of ignoring the skill tree is more common than not, but this is expected since there’s really no emphasis placed on the skill tree in my opinion. Compared to the MMO, at level 1 you have “basic attacks” which have no additional damage modifiers… once you level through, you pour skill points into your skill tree where those attacks are more potent. So ignoring the skill tree and fighting a boss is comparable to “basic attacking” a boss to death. Khazan does a poor job of not displaying the damage difference between basic attacks and skills. The MMO does this by showing a tool tip in the skill tree by displaying (200%) vs basic attacks. Other than that, good gameplay. Cheers (Edit: forgot to mention, the forgiving thing about boss fights not sure if you noticed - you were still accumulating souls and skill points based off of how much damage you did on every attempt)

Yup! Decent but not mind-blowing. Definitely something I want to play, but maybe not for full price - depending ON the price, which I haven't actually looked up xD
