Dude the rookie is the perfect figure for a blank ODST, I really wish they distributed that series more that way we could've had some plain looking ODSTs in our collection. Only one can dream I guess

Favorite fig from alpha 9 is probably the rookie. His color scheme is mostly gray which looks…depressing. Least favorite is probably buck because he does look similar to the rookie. For the guns, I would probably use the old style suppressed smg. For buck I’d use a painted infinite ar. Other than that, these figs are awesome! A suggestion I have is you should review the old fireteams from 2013 and up.

The old suppressed SMGs are pretty good still. Less molded detail but still solid. Did Buck ever use a Reach style AR?

Seeing the falcon sweep, I really hope mega releases an alpha nine set maybe with a police pelican, because these are my favorite groups of troopers! I love all the small details they give to these figs, and with a new set we could get the troopers with new heads, which would be awesome! Great review and keep up the awesome work!

I don’t know if anyone addressed this already but with Dutch’s helmet, the teeth aren’t prominent. They’re subtly where his chin is. In the image of the heroes version, the details of the teeth are there but they weren’t able to get it that small without making it all a blob. Now with the other ODSTs the shark teeth went around the whole visor which Dutch didn’t have so it wouldn’t have been game accurate.

I have the last 3 members i need already on the way (buck, dare and mickey) i never thought i would get the full Alpha 9 but i was lucky with Romeo and Buck, the only thing i don't like is the white parts on some on these, but i just exchange it with some green halo wars marines, even if its not the same exact pieces, but it suit them better, at least for me. Great review as always.

Pretty late but a fan of your work keep it up. Anyways I'm a massive ODST fan was my first Halo game so it's super important for me btw the BR was never in Halo Odst only used by an npc nmpd officer who got killed in a cutscene. Buck's main weapon though was the AR and SOCOM Pistol although he can always change because you play as him in one mission or two I forgot.

Oh and a good team idea for you to review together could be Shadows of Reach Blue Team: Fred from the Chopper set, Kelly from the Razorback, Linda when the heroes series 15 arrives and pretty much any Master Chief from infinite, but i would say maybe the one that came with the Warthog, even if its not the best MC i think its the one that suits best with the rest of the members.

I find it funny that Alpha 9 and Noble Team are very similar, the characters have similar relationships with each other like the other team. The rookie and Noble six are the odd ones out and very similar. When I upgraded my rookie's gun, I used the series 14 trail blazer smg and just attached it with a simple gray stubby supresser.

Since halo infinite has came out and mega has made a set on nearly everything maybe they could do waves on each of the games like after halo infinite’s stuff is finished we’ll get some ce stuff then halo 2, after that halo 3, halo 3 ODST, halo reach, halo 4, halo 5, this way once they are finished with the previous games the dlc content should have created many new things to do for halo infinite

I use the black ODST from the ODST customizer pack for my "buck" Looks close enough. but i got the rest of alpha 9. Looks like the ODST customizer pack is REALLY hard to get now adays. Lost my silver knife from that pack, i dont have any clue how XD I really hope to see another customizer pack, for ODST. Not likely considering there are NO ODST IN HALO INFINITE :((((9 Also Dutch has Skull teeth on his helmet, not Shark Teeth :) I hate Mickeys rocket launcher with that little armpit piece that makes it awkward for him to hold. The one you gave him looks really cool though! I like the Gold SMG with the chubby suppressor i think its more of a Halo 5 Suppressed SMG. but i would also switch it out if i had the hero version like you did lol

The drop pods were discontinued, which is why you can't find them. They aren't worth $109. There's only one store that stocks them for retail on Ebay and he may be all out
